KW CF Satin M4 PM2

I did a little maneuvering and managed to put together the scratch to buy one of these today. Excited to add this to the collection!!
 
I order one last night as well, how long does it typically take for them to ship an order?
 
Are the ones from the first run different from this run? I cannot tell by comparing pictures, materials, and even model number. If the same, why would someone pay $20 more buying second hand from the Exchange instead of from KW directly?

They are exactly the same. I wondered the same thing..:rolleyes:

Perfectly centered. Beautiful specimen.
 
Got mine today. Ordered Sunday 4/8.

Generally flawless, centered, rock solid. Almost free dropping, easily flocked open.

These scales are pretty aggressively textured. It's a nice feature!

Only one minor flaw and I mean minor is a few C.F. fibers around the lanyard tube appear flaked/delaminated by the edge of the lanyard tube being pressed in. Hard to tell if they are flaked or it's just my imagination... It's that's small.

All in all a damn nice knife, and a homerun PM2 exclusive.
 
by the way, is it just me or is the new knifeworks.com web site just awful?! Can't find a search window, then when I did it could not find any - ANY - spyderco "paramilitary 2". Something appears really wrong. Maybe it's just buggy with a new launch? Anyone else having problems?
 
Sold out in about a week, which is about the same as the first run (800 vs 1,200). So it is still a model liked by many people. Glad that I got one.

It's not great, particularly the search functionality. You have to search "Para military 2".

not just you. roger sent an email out awhile back on he knows its problematic and they are working to make it better.
