Knife center I mean. I get paid tonight at midnight who has bought one and what did you think? At this point I'm gonna pull the trigger. It's either that or the Blade HQ m4 military, but then again I just bought a military exclusive from knifeworks. He'll I dunno, I'd but both but my girlfriend always trips if I buy more than one knife per pay period. Anyway what do y'all think of that manix

GET IT! I just picked one up last week and I am quite pleased with it. I am a big Manix 2 fan and this one became an instant favorite. Feels great in the hand, fit and finish is outstanding, and it is ultra smooth...Great knife!

Yea that's sweet for sure.... Nice price on it too. There's just too many damn spidies I want and not enough cash.

Man.. You keep making me jealous with that Manix. I've been seeing your pictures up over the past week or so and each time I end up running over to Knife Center's page to make sure they're still in stock, haha. I'm waiting to get one until I have enough cash to spare.

I have question, though. How is the carbon fiber? I've handled their Domino carbon fiber(original not the weave) which I love. It's smooth and awesome. And I've had the Sage 5 carbon fiber which has the textured carbon fiber and felt like a stone(which I wasn't a big fan of). I've read mixed reviews between "chalky" and smooth. I'm hoping it's smooth because all the jimping on the Manix would set it off.

Thanks man!...To me the cf feels pretty smooth. Not quite as smooth as the only other cf knife I currently have (Brous Division), but still pretty damn smooth. I can feel a slight chalky feeling but only ever so slightly. At first the edges were grabbing a few fibers from the cloth I was wiping it with, but not so much that I would consider them rough, and even after just a few days of fondling this no longer happens.

I don't think you'll be disappointed if you end up getting it. It checked off the Cru-Wear box for me in my Spydie collection, and I think if I had to choose only one Manix it would be this one.

Both are great knives I've been carrying the military to work for the past month and the manix on the weekends for the same time period. I'd say go for the blade length you prefer, both great steel, unique scales and exclusives. Can't go wrong with either

That definitely answered the one concern I had over it, so I appreciate the response. CruWear sounds like the perfect steel for the Manix platform.

Hopefully they have two left for Johnny Brown and myself, or else it might get ugly, haha.

Almost bought this workhorse! Cruwear is a perfect fit for the Manix2 design.

But, so many spydies and only so much pain I can put on my knife budget ;\. Their flash batch won out over this.

How smooth is the action out of box?

Mine came perfect right out of the box. Flies open with authority and drops closed freely when you engage the lock. I didn't have to adjust the pivot whatsoever

Shoot first and ask questions never. This one is a no brainer. It was the first manix I'd ever come across I didn't realize what a slam dunk it was. Mine came perfect in every way.

It cleans up really nice too. Don't be afraid to use it, the cf scales are great. A little "chalky" out of the box, but they soften up with use and wear very well.

Yes, get it! Mine is a 10/10 as far as fit, form and function are concerned...perfect in every way!

With the siblings...

Yea I'm getting it. Once my funds hit tonight at midnight I'm pullin the trigger. I emailed knife center couple days ago they told me they had plenty still just in case anyones wondering. An a!ed bonus I just found out one of my fox knives sold on ebay so now ill be able to get that Millie too! Haha but now its between the m4 Millie at blade or the 204p at knife center. Heard both are greatness. Guess it comes down to steel and I'm a sucker for m4....
Decisions decisions

You'll love it. Got mine last week and it's perfect, just like the others have mentioned. No blade play, perfectly centered and smooth dropper when lock is disengaged. This is my fourth Manix and by far my favorite.

I'm pretty excited for it too, haha. I've yet to try out CruWear, so that really peaked my interest.

Right now I'm just waiting on the email to tell me it's been shipped, and then I'll be stuck refreshing the tracking page every 10 minutes. I haven't heard a single bad thing about this Manix, so it must be a home run.

The pictures just don't do this knife justice. One thing you can't really see with pictures is how the CF scales react with light. Mine almost has a shimmering to it when the light hits it and I tilt it back and forth. Congrats on the new knife.

I actually understand what you mean. My Sage 5 did the same thing, in certain light it lit up like a Christmas tree, haha. Really sweet looking and all the stock pictures out there just didn't seem capture it.

I'm just glad they still had some in stock, I was starting to get worried I'd be just a bit too late to the party.

I'm just waiting for bento to to get some more m4 manixss in and my manix needs will be fulfilled. Definitely looking forward to this one tho. Well that's a lie I want the manix back lock as well. I can never catch up with Spyderco there's never a Spyderco that I'm not wanting
