Dann that sucks bro. Hate when stuff like that happens. I'm actually waiting on three knives. I bought that manix and the s35vn paramilitary 2 from kc that should be here tomorrow. And I returned one of the carbon fiber slash titanium kw exclusive militaries because it had mad blade play when I got it

Everybody talks about how they have great customer service and I'm not roastin on em, but I've got to say I'm far from impressed. I haven't gotten an email, a phone call, nothing; I had to contact them. I hate to sound like a pain in the ass customer but when you get a shity knife and you have to return it when you've been waiting for forever, well, it sucks, and it should be made right quickly in my opinion. Now if I have to wait through the weekend till Monday for them to Simply ship it, I'll be heated at that point

This was my first purchase from Knife Center so I have no experience with how their customer service is. I've gotten extremely lucky when it comes to buying knives new, I never had to return one. If my $200+ knife had crazy blade play there's no way I'd sit on it. Hell, I'll be upset if my Manix has that problem so I can understand your perspective.

I've actually taken advantage of BF's exchange as of late to save some pennies, haha. I'm gonna force myself to not buy another knife for at least a month.. Unless I happen to see a deal I just can't pass up, haha.

But yeah I'm pretty disappointed that it didn't show up today. If the expected delivery date was for tomorrow I wouldn't even be worried about it, but they got me all excited for today and slammed me with some BS. It's worth the extra day, though, it should be a wicked little beast.

Well here's to us both getting our orders in tomorrow, because I sure as heck do not want to wait until Monday.

Post office boned me again. I woke up today to check my tracking number, only find out my knife spent it's life traveling all over Pennsylvania.

Ah.. Man.. Pain in the ass.

Aww DUDE! that is straight LAME bro! I'm sorry that sucks! Don't mean to rub salt in a wound but mines out for delivery! There's something wrong when I'm like a thousand miles away and you're just a couple States over and I get mine first, that just ain't right! I've got an s35vn pm2 stoaway in my package I think..... Seems like a waste of shipping to just buy one knife

Haha that's all good, at least you got yours coming. I have a feeling mine's going to end up back at knife center because it actually went to the right destination center last night, so I expected it today. Well it left there at 5 am and has yet to show up again. USPS royally screwed up this delivery.

I'm pissed off now. I was gonna call my post office to find out what the issue is, I actually had to make sure I put down the right address(I definitely did). I don't mind waiting until Monday, but I have a feeling they don't have a clue what to do with it now so it may not even show up then.

Let me know what you think of it, though. I just hope it's worth all the headache, haha.

I got my knives and the c.f. Manix is buttery yummy yummy! It's damn nice I gotta say. Smooth as silk. Locks up like a bank vault and then falls closed. Its a joy for sure, glad I bought it. Its damn sharp too.

That's great to hear. Literally everyone that's gotten one has the same to say so Spyderco must have seriously pushed their quality control through the roof with this knife. That actually makes the wait that much more worth it.

I've been sitting here all afternoon fondling it and I love it, I've got to say, I really love it. the detent is sweetspot city. The carbon fiber has that soft supple feeling when you press on it, havent had a manix in a while so I don't really remember what the production ones feel like to compare to but the action is smooth as rubbing two pieces of glass together.... perfect lock up and 164 bux, sharp as nuts, it has everything going on for real. So damn ergonomic, just feels classy, blows G10 out of the water. Straight lovin it so yeah home run, can't put er down.

Mine showed up before I had to leave. Really impressed with it. Deployment is the smoothest from any Golden Spyderco's I've gotten straight from the factory. Sharp as razor, cut myself 3(4 now)times already.

Carbon fiber feels great. The ball bearing lock is a bit stiff, but it's literally brand new so I won't hold that against it, haha.

Edit: Wow.. I am utterly impressed with this blade. I think from now on I'll be comparing my other knives to this. The fit and finish on this beast is outstanding, the Taichung plant comes to mind. The bevels are dead even(which always surprises me nowadays), it has some heft, enough to know its there which I like a lot.

If I had to pick something to complain about it'd be the clip, I wish it was black and that's it, lol. It's a beautiful piece that I'm going to enjoy using.

Thank you everyone for putting out your pictures and appraising comments about this blade, definitely glad I added it to the family.

Glad to see you have it finally and everything is perfect with it. It took a while, but finally get to you. Now, it's time to use and enjoy the knife.
It's supposed to be in the mid 90's and very humid here today. I'm debating on whether to take this knife with me because of the CruWear not being stainless. It's either leave it at home, or say heck with it and just take it with me and see what happens. I'm leaning towards taking it with me. You can't enjoy a knife by leaving it in a drawer most of the time. Decisions, decisions....

Haha yeah it definitely traveled a bit more than I expected it to, but it was worth the wait.

I'm carrying mine around today and I'm experiencing the same weather as you where you're at. 87 degrees as I type this and the sun's behind a cloud. I'm really banking on that 7 and a half percent of chromium to keep this blade from rusting, which from what I've read it really does a good job.

I don't think I can help but baby this knife for the first few days, but I'm really interested in seeing how CPM CruWear performs.

I forgot to mention that this has officially become thee sharpest knife out of the box from any company. It's like a little laser, I didn't even try shaving with it because I know I'll have a huge bald spot by the time I'm done.

Looks like we'll both be seeing how it goes with this steel in about the same conditions. The only thing I've done to mine is wipe it with a Tuf-Cloth when I first got it and oil the pivot. Nothing since then. Hopefully, we both experience no problems with this beautiful knife.
 
How many pieces are this run? Or is this going to be an item that is produced for a while?
