Do any of you guys have the Next Gen? And if you do, I’d love to hear thoughts on it. For whatever reason I am extremely drawn to that one but I haven’t let myself drop the cash on one yet. TKC has several right now in 3V, DLT has at least one in A2, as does New Graham Knives, and I’m tempted.

I don't have one, but I too always used to want one.....
Everything I've read, the various owners are happy. A2 would be a pretty good choice for that sized blade, 3V too.

Buy the one you like the handles of Best

I have several. The flat grind is what I seem to like using more than the skandi. Very handy size. You know you want one, just do it.

It's going to be my next LT Wright - it looks ideal for just having around while camping.

You are correct, I do want one 😂. I would definitely do the flat grind, I’m not a huge scandi grind fan.

That’s my thoughts as well. It looks like a great all a-rounder.

I like what they do with both A2 and 3V so either would be fine with me. I also think they do a good job with O1 and would be fine with that. If I ever come across one in aeb-l I’ll snatch it up regardless.

He sells the large Northern Hunter in AEBL, on his website. I have the green micarta and it's a beautiful knife - I'm hoping to inaugarate it this Fall during deer season.
