I should have stated, publicly or privately..You have to live with your own conscience..just to be clear.

It sounds like you sanded the mating surface...the side, as you are calling it..You modified it,..by a little or alot, you have to live with that decision because I don't think anyone will refund you after you admit that that publicly.
You have 2-3 choices...1)live with it 2) send it back to CRK to fix or 3) find someone competent enough to fix it.

Ok sanded or not sanded the knife came with this problem i guess he's getting a bad feedback..... and you even said the bushing seems like it is undersized plus there is no reason for me to sand the top side of the bushing and i even maid a thread about the same problem I'm getting even before i got the knife and plus i didn't even know the warranty was going to be voided... Even if this dude sold me the knife for 270$ and i knew the warranty was voided and the bushing has a problem i would have lost money by fixing it....

I am going to warn you about giving him bad feedback; Nothing good will come of it after YOU modified the knife..a little or alot..You are looking at a storm that you will not win.

There is another choice..Put it up for sale and disclose the history...take your lumps, learn from them...and move on..Someone may be more willing to do what is necessary to fix it than you.

plus it don't make any sense i got other sebenza that free fall better than this one and it locks up like a fix blade....

TBH i don't even have to give robert k a bad review LOL there has been over 800+ people that have seen this thread

I guess telling the truth gets you no where these days :(

Your honesty will get you further than what you believe. Had I more time than what I have, I would offer to fix the issue with it...But I simply do not have the time.
As with all things, you have to be able to live with the decisions you make in life..As do we all.

There has been 800 views- I can see the list of people that have viewed it at any given time..The true number is much, much smaller.

Your reputation here is pretty valuable if you like knives, buying and selling. Even in jest, this may lead someone to believe that your honesty is questionable. As you previously stated; There are alot of eyes on this subject and some of those eyes may be potential buyers/sellers.
This is only advice I am giving here..so, take it for what it's worth.

True True anyway i guess I'm going to live with it. :(

ok if i get a new bushing should it fix the problem or will i have the same problem cause of the scratch marks i got in the blade where the bushings rides?

oh and another thing is i treat people how i would like to be treated simple as that if i was the seller in this case and even though the buyer sanded the washer or bushing or whatever he did and i figure out the bushing was undersized i would give him a refund with no questions asked.....

It doesn't work like that...once you dissembled that knife it became yours. May I suggest less posting and more listening. I honestly wouldn't deal with you or RobertK at this point.
Good luck

In theory, a new bushing should fit..But I am not sure if CRK will sell just the bushing without sending it in to make sure of fit. A double edged sword here.
The only way to know for sure is to call them. They are very good people to deal with and don't mind answering questions.

You might consider not smarting off to the same bunch of people who are trying to help you. ;)

ok i have learned my lesson once i get any sebenza in ill make sure all the screws are tight and then check for blade wiggle then if it has blade wiggle ill just ask for a refund without even trying to fix it my self
