I have to think you are joking at this point.
You buy a used knife, modify it, don't get the results you want, and you want the SELLER to be responsible?

To understand everyone's problem with what you are doing and have done, try this:
1. Buy a brand new car.
2. Take it home and paint it.
3. Ask the dealer to take it back because you don't like the results.
