Larry, at least come on and defend yourself! Also, whenever I use a money order, I always email the MO number to the seller in advance, or try to at least. You should have that information still, if you do send it to Ariel. If you don't, that was either a big mistake on your part, or you didn't send the MO at all, which was a big mistake all in itself.

I will never understand why a person is willing to destroy their reputation for something like a knife. When millions are stolen, there is to the SCUMBAG some payback for chucking their personal integrity and credibility out the door.
Alll you have as a member of an Internet community like BF is your reputation and your word. Senseless as hell to destroy it by stealing from a man's livlihood, and a pure act of cowardice to not address this with his peers.
Ariel, your work is stunning. I have admired it for quite some time. I know how hard you work to support your family and how much you value your reputation. I hope this incident does not cause you to distrust the 99.9999% of us here who are true practitioners of honesty and integrity.

If you are from Hyden, you live not too far from where my Dad's family is from. Most of the people I know or have met up in the moutains have a strong sense of personal ethics. They may not always respect the laws of the land, but they wouldn't screw somebody over. They would at least stand up for themselves if someone was calling them a liar and a thief in public if it weren't true too. Either you have ripped this guy off, or are letting your good reputation be tarnished over a misundertanding. From one Kentucky boy to another, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. :barf:

There were a couple customers of mine (well, potential) that had ordered knives and when my last computer died I lost their info.
One of them was Larry Pace, and he ordered 2 knives... Looks like it was a bit of a blessing in disguise that I lost his contact info and never made him the knives. I thought it was strange he never got ahold of me.
I'm sorry you had to go through this Ariel... what a load of crud that was dumped on you!

Well it has been a few days and Larry has not come forward to try to work things out, no matter what the problem may have been. He could have worked something out even if cash it tight. Now it is without doubt that Ariel has been taken advantage of. It is obvious that Ariel is a patient sort and a payment plan could have been worked out.
How can someone do this and enjoy using or looking at a knife.
I do not understand how someone can rip a person off of their work, time and artistry and enjoy the ownership of a knife.
What do they do? Take it out and think how proud they are of themselves for ripping another person off. Do they take pride in stealing the time and talent of another person? (How the heck does that work.)
I guess I am a sick puppy. If I stole something I would have to throw it away. All it would do is remind me that I am a friggin' thief.
