Last knife that bit you?

I did the same thing not long ago with my Kershaw Chive right in front of our preacher's wife when we had her over while he was away for a meeting! I was opening of all things the wraper covering the blade of a pizza slicer!

Case 6244- sharpening it on my Lansky Deluxe, while closing it, it snapped shut and shaved a thin piece of callus skin off my thumb like a cheese slicer, no blood, no pain, just clean slice.:o

When I was a kid (which wasnt that long ago) my first knife was a buck 110 and I had that thing extremely sharp. Being a kid I never really had anything to do around my neighborhood of old people in Florida I bought some sand paper and had a nice flat surface to tape it to. I started putting a razor edge on it and then proceeded to test the edge in a little peice of wood that I had......short story long I accidentally set the edge into my finger when I was trying to set it into the wood. Still have the scar and still cant bend my pointer finger on my left hand all the way over. The knife went into my bone and stuck lol. I think I was around ten haha dont let your kids play with knives until they get cut. thats the only way most learn.

This file knife I made approx 2-3 days ago.

The Aurora stabbed me in the first finger carving and then after I'd cleaned myself up it stabbed me again in the thumb. Clearly I didn't learn the first time.

One of my KA-BAR Dozier Folders, a thumbhole model. I was cutting the guide ropes on a set of window blinds (adjusting the length to fit the window, it had a few too many slats at the bottom) and accidentally poked the tip into my right pointer finger. It bled pretty good, but I clot and heal quickly. I must have some Wolverine in me or something. The very same day my wife was slicing some veggies and nicked the tip of one of her fingers but good. It's still bleeding, a day later. She said if she can't find some liquid bandage, she's gonna super glue it shut so it will quit bleeding. Dr.? We don't need no stinking Dr.! ;)

SAK seems to be a really useful knife, yet it bites people quite a lot.
my Forester bit me twice, my pioneer bit me twice, really deep.
but the last lady that bit me is an old paring knife :( while I was cleaning the blade after kitchen work yesterday.
the cut is quite clean and couldn't stop bleeding for like 5mins...now I'm typing win 9fingers :))

This is the last knife that REALLY bit me. This event happened in May of 2010.

While I was preparing to take a picture of my brand new, Case CV Mini Trapper with Yellow Derlin Handles, I was opening the blades to set the knife up for the picture when the wife said something from the kitchen. As I turned my head to see what she wanted, I slid my thumb down the spey blade. My oh my! Opened my thumb up like a split plumb.

Don't let anyone tell you a Case CV Mini Trapper with Yellow Derlin Handles isn't plenty sharp right out of the box.

Since it's been a year since this little adventure, I figure another adventure is right around the corner.

I cut myself the first time with 154CM steel the other day at work with my much respected and liked Benchmade 735BT! We have these two locks at work that give us trouble and this was the worst of the two! To get the key out after the lock pushes in you have to push or hold the key hole portion with something to back the key out! I use to be able to just use my finger nail. I guess between not being to bright and the hot TX sun baking my pee brain I just didn't think it through to good! It was small but hurt non the less! Since then I use my Leatherman's Pliers tip(one heck of a lot better)!

BK14 bit me pretty good while wrapping it several weeks ago. Whoopsie.

Here's a bit of carnage...

Cold steel Kukri machete i wasnt careful enough while sharpening it and it got my finger. It wasnt too bad though

I just took a CRKT folts minimalist into the thigh while trimming handles off of floormats. Probably a good half inch deep, been limping for over a week :D

last night I had a kitchen knife bite me. bad thing about having your knifes sharpen to a razor edge is that they cant bite you and the cut goes pretty dman deep. the good thing is that its a nice cut which heals fast.

A few days ago I grabbed my Old Hickory 12" butcher knife and went out to the row of bushes outside. There were some dead limbs that needed to be trimmed. Anyway, I was changing hands with the blade, here's the mistake. As I pinched the blade with my left hand, I started taking the lanyard off my right. It was my thumb that decided to stay in the lanyard as I pulled my hand away. The blade shifted down as I accidentally pulled on the lanyard. Somehow, the blade cut the same finger in two places.
Neither cut was bad, but I still can't figure out how I got cut in two different directions, on the same finger?

BK13 I was wrapping the handle, gave a tug and it popped out of the sheath and bumped against my finger. It bleed pretty good but I had my PSK right in front of me and I grabbed a bandage and wrapped it real tight. Bleeding stopped after a couple of minutes.
