Thank you Hawkhead. I really appreciate that especially coming from someone who's work and mods I admire so much.
I learned so much doing this mod. After I finish these 16's, I think Im gonna try my hand at making my own knife. It's so addictive. I will be getting some better tools for the job too.

Thanks Warrior. I will do that for sure! Also when all three (possibly more, I've got a few tucked away) of these are completed, I am gonna take some really nice pics of them and make a shorter thread showcasing them and explaining the process for each one that way people don't have to fumble thru all these pages to find the pics and stuff. This thread might be huge by the time all these are done in the next couple months or so. Hopefully sooner.
 
Dex that 16 looks nicer then some customs I have seen in person. All I have to say is DAMN! Beautiful work!
 
WHAT THE CRAP?! That looks so amazing I could punch you in the face (that's a compliment, but I'm serious). I have blade envy for sure. Amazing work. I agree that this should be in a separate thread to honor the awesomosity of it all.

Well fellas, the sun finally came out today so I was able to snap some better pics. Hope you all don't mind a few more photos! lol

And on a side note, I think I might force a patina. Reason being is that this knife feels so good in the hand that I just want to use it all the time. Problem is that I used it to prepare one meal cutting up onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, sausage, and bacon then cut up some fruit for my son a few times and it starts to get spots real quick. I am tired of stropping out all the patina spots and stuff. Uh.... why can't she just stay shinny!

Thank you Nathan! And I say go for it! Just take your time she will come out great!

I wish each of you could actually hold this bad boy and see that not only does she look amazing, But she feel even better than she looks. And really that's what counts right? If a knife looks awesome but feels like crap in the hand, It's a big fail. lol
 
Holy moly..you killed it, man! Those scales, liners, and the shaping are just beautiful... nice rocks too ;)
 
Alright, my son should fall asleep any minute and I will try to head to the garage for an hour or so while he naps and start grinding on another 16.
Think I have settled on almost the same blade shape (maybe dropped a little more) with almost stock handle shape. I will put a little more curve in the finger grooves on the tang and make the scales come all the way down to the finger guard. Probably gonna round off a little of the back end too. Thinking micarta with G10 liners on this one since she will probably see more hard use and needs to be bulletproof!
 
Did a little grinding on the 2nd 16. She has been sprayed with stripper and should be naked very soon.

Here is a pic of what I have done so far. Nothing to extreme on this one, just a little personalization. Next to old stubby for comparison.
