From the official description:
"pure Teflon bearings for a lifetime of glassy smooth operation"

So, are there teflon ball bearings in the pivot, or did the description mean standard teflon washers?

They are pure teflon washers. No ball bearings.

Knife looks awesome! Cant wait till monday!! Hey Bwilson, do you wear nail polish man?! Just wondering by the pic?? :D

Oops my bad man didnt see the wife listed under the pic until my second glance! My bad! I apologize!! Are we still friends? :D

It's always useful to take a few minutes before posting, because otherwise I'd have done the same exact thing, haha. :D

If a future batch ever offers a "standard edge" by that I mean no recurve, then I'm in.

mantzao,

Thanks for the vid!

I see you moved the clip. Did you do that because it was covering the pivot screw? That part of the design makes no sense to me.

I don't suppose there's a Hinderer-style stabilizer also hiding under the clip, as there is with the VECP?

Their statement is correct, Teflon is the bearing surface, any talk of "Teflon Ball Bearings" came from you and would be an improper use of the material. Ball or roller bearings rely on small contact areas to decrease friction and as such required a hardened surface and a film of lubricant. Teflon bearings work best with a large contact area.

Teflon Bearings?, ...we even use them on bridges these days.

It's all about the coefficient of friction.

The knife and vid sin't mine:D
My bad, i should've said it before.
Just wanted to share the video.

I'm doing a full review this afternoon gents - carrying it as I type this and can hardly put it down. Feels/looks like James Bonds tactical folder (my wife said that while we are watching skyfall).

Carrying that folder and watching Skyfall... I'm jealous! :)

Looking forward to your review.

Thanks for the clarification. I had not heard the term "bearings" used in place of washers before, in regards to folding knives.

Very nice. It really reminds me of a vecp crossed with a loinsteel sr1 plus a flipper. Definitely a very interesting package.
