Let’s see those forum knives

Mine showed up yesterday. Great looking pair! Fit and finish good, except one of the Sheepsfoot blades stands tall. I'll have Buck address that issue and decide which will be my user. Preston

It looks like the nub on the blade side at the bolster is taller on one. I wonder if that's filed down slightly the blade will sit flatter

Mike it's the 'kick'. It's some what wider and longer than the other. The way I 'fix' things would void the warranty. I'll send it in and get'r done right. Preston

Didn't have a knife that fit in the Sunday Picture Show, but found this photo while looking.
Many people like dark stag, no matter what creature it came from. Here is a 301 from 1988, with Buck's production Elk scale. In case someone didn't like the scale they got on the forum knife. If your's is light in texture, it has a long bloodline so no regrets. 300

P.S. I thought I had too many knives so I didn't get one, now I am envious of those who did.

I just went through this thread again and have to say Buck truly did a remarkable job! I wonder if you sent a pic of your forum knife Buck could or would try to match the scales if you ordered a 110/112 in Elk to match it?

I found two small sheath's that will work for this knife the brown one is not branded black one is for a buck 501
