Could someone please make me a comprehensive and alphabetized list, in reverse chronological order, and include all pertinent info such as make model, where to buy said tool/equipment, shipping costs, instructions on how to hook it all up, etc.

Also, just how DO you all heat treat O-1???

So You're a knife maker. I have some really good knife steel that I'll give you. It's kind of rusty because I found it burried in my granpa's barn but it is really hard and heavy.
 
How do I tell the wife, I have gotten so caught up in the wonder of knife making, that I think I might quit my job and go full time. Should I?:jerkit:

And by the way, after watching this neat video, about how the Japanese used to forge those magical blades, I called the school and told them the kids wouldn't be there; I needed them in the forge as my assistance. Do you think this was a little over the top?:o
What kind of steel should I use to make a 36 inch Claymore? They are so neat. Its my first knife and I can use all the help you fine folks are willing to give.:confused:

And one of my personal favorites from an e-mail. Can you build me a sword? I want it to look like this( insert appropriate fantasy style sword) and weigh like 30 pounds. That is what real ones weigh, oh and I want it made out of stainless, oh and I have $200.00, and how long will it take cause I need it in a month. I omitted the numerous spelling mistakes and horrible grammar.
