Let's Have An Auction for Ray!

The website is almost done. Dave and Nick have previewed the website and have suggested revisions. I'll get the revisions done soon. We had one minor glitch or the website would be live right now. Hopefully the website will be live Thursday or Friday.

Bill, if I get outbid for your tomahawk, I hope the person you buys it will allow me visitation rights. I've become attached to it. ;)

Here are some previews:

Thats good news Chuck, I can't wait to see all the great donations. All the donators had the easy part, again thank you for all the time and work you 3 have provided to make this happen.
Mitch, those are fantastic photos, thank you for your time and generousity.

Bill

Nice hawk Bill!!!

This reminds me, I gotta get to work on a blade.

Guys,

It was a joy to photo the knives that have come in so far. Bill, that Hawk is simply awesome! I really like the sense of community and pulling together to help Raymond. He's a stellar maker who I've seen and chatted at many show along my few years as a collector and photographer. I'm glad to be a part of this effort to help one of our own who is in need.

I keep checking the site, but it keeps coming up still under construction. Just curious, any idea when the site might become active?

Bill

I've check the website at least 100 times since Friday.

Everything is ready to go. We are waiting for the DNS servers to be updated.

I had one of those DoesNotShow servers once...
Looking forward to seeing what's going up at auction.
I can afford to give knives away, but I don't know if I can buy one, though we'll see...
Keep up the good work, Chuck.

Still no website up.. :(

Maybe they will get the update doneso we can see the site soon :)

Same here!!! and I'm sure there are literally several hundred other guys hitting that poor little server as well.....the anticipation is killing us!! OK guys....let the server rest for a day! :)

Remember when Victoria Secrets had an online fashion show....those servers melted in a few minutes.....(so I'm told...I would never go to those types of web sites  ). Anyway....Chuck, I think we gonna melt a few more servers as soon as they come online!! :D :D

Boy-o-boy I can't wait!!!

Looks like the site is up and running. Looks great Chuck! :D

All the donated items are not on the website yet. I'll planning to spend two hours a day updating the website.

Donors, it you see something that is wrong or you want changed, please send me an e-mail with the changes clearly identified. There were lots of open fields I'd like to fill in.

Bidding instructions are on the home page:

I put one in the mail today. D2 forged from 5/8" round stock with cordwrap over white rayskin.
Chuck let me know when you get it.

Chuck that site is fantastic! You've done a helluva job getting the domain set up and putting that together. Many folks may not realize how difficult it is setting up a website but that's a huge donation in itself, and one I would have balked at. You are a hero for putting everything into this effort that you have. I want to thank you personally from the bottom of my heart for all you've done to make this happen. Thank You very much Chuck! I truly, deeply, appreciate it.

For some reason I can't get it on Netscape but I did see it on Internet Explorer.

WOW! DOUBLE WOW! I never expected anything like this! I really don't know how to thank everyone but what you are doing is Greatly appreciated! Thank you all so very much.......

great work chuck & everyone who contributed - lots of great pieces up for bid!

chuck - did want to mention that the custom knife page isn't displaying correctly in my browser. the further down the page i go, the further to the right the knives shift. possible it's a problem on my end, but figured i'd mention it.

Thanks for the lead. Please check it now.

The newest browsers allow more incomplete meta tags than the old browsers. It works fine with both of my browsers. One of these days I need to get a website program rather than using straight html. ;)

hey chuck -

improved - looks good down to don cowles piece now, but same kind of weirdness after that.
