Lets see some Hinderer action

Nice new knives and awesome edges, DRLyman DRLyman and BellaBlades BellaBlades , and your Halloween Hinderer looks fantastic, 91bravo 91bravo !

Y'all are making me quite jealous. I have a new Shiro and a lionSTEEL on the way, but nothing fresh Hinderer to post since my new HalfTrack back in March. I'll just have to post my XM24 REK re-grind from last summer in the face of your sweet edges and orange delight.

That looks really good. And nice pics

It is amazing what you learn when you have been off the forums for a few days. I will give you a hard time about this next time you call:D

In all seriousness, that color combo is sweet as hell. Congrats on a badass knife!

Thanks, I like it too! I'll call you soon!

I can't recommend the M390 enough. I used it all day working in the yard, making the fire, cutting cardboard and cutting new clothes line. She still shaves. The new edge we both put on makes a huge difference in slicing ability.

I forgot how much longer it holds an edge than S35VN and seems to be tougher too.

Forgot to mention. I bent the end of the clip a little bit flatter on day 1. Referring to the spoon portion. Takes away the hot spot.

You guys are really not helping me stave off the non flipper spanto M390 temptation. Ever since I sharpened one for a customer I've been feeling the urge.

That's great. I've been using mine a lot and it's still a little razor since I sharpened it. It has became even smoother now. I love the action, flicks open with ease for me and drops shut so easily. So far, no problems with a hot spot on the clip, but I'll keep that trick in mind if I need to do that.

I've wanted to own a Hinderer ever since I first saw one, back in maybe 2014. I got a good deal on one with a few miles on it (which, psychologically, always makes it easier for me to use a higher-end knife) and finally took the plunge, and I love it. :D

I'd always figured that if I ever bought one I'd go slicer or spanto, but the bowie blade shape kind of snuck up on me and became my favorite.

So, I decided to repurpose a brand new CRK Inkosi sheath I had made by Wicek because I sold the knife .

Instead up putting it back up for sale I decided to soak it in hot water. Then bag up my XM 18 3.5 and stuff it in there. It was tight!

The quality of the stitching and work held up to the torque and it came out great.

After working it for 30 minutes and letting it dry she fits like a glove.
