Lets see some Hinderer action

I think you made it look much better with those add ons. The brass looks good on both sides and goes well with the G10 color.

Thanks! Even after just a few days of carrying the brass is starting to patina a little bit which I think looks even nicer.

full brass conversion on my 3.5 xm18. cant wait till it starts to patina a bit.

Oh man! I have an xm in the same color scales. I’ve been thinking about putting brass hardware as well but wasn’t sure how it would look like. I think you just helped me spend more money.

Thanks to @91bravo and pictures of his great looking knife, I decided to get one for myself. I love the DLC and olive green scale along with the sheepsfoot blade. It’s one of a few of my knives I just can’t stop looking at and admiring. Somewhat crappy cell phone picture since I’m at work, but I’m sure I’ll be taking some better ones of it this weekend to put up here.

A little hike with a few companions. It’s nice to live near the Rockies and Pikes Peak but Palmer Park in the middle of Colorado Springs offers nice hiking right in the middle of town in the shadow of the big mountain.

Great looking knife! Did you get it from DLT if you don't mind?

I just saw on Instagram and YouTube that Hinderer will be offering the triway pivot system on all their knives now. All new knives shipping now will have this feature. Teflon, pb washers and ceramic bearing will be provided with every folder. The Skinner model will be the first to hit retailers.

That's interesting.

We will find out soon, but I wonder what the price will be?
In the video, Rick stated the new washers are the same size as the old ones. I wonder if you could take older Hinderers and put bearings on them.

I was thinking/wondering the same thing About backward compatibility, pikemaster11. I saw a video on the full track and there appears to be some milling in the frame to accommodate the triway pivot on that model. The folder Rick had in the YouTube video closed like my Zt’s. I looked and sounded smooth.

Just watched rick do a follow up video and there is a part milled out for the thicker bearings.
There is a metal washer that fills in the milled out portion for the teflon and phosphor bronze washers.

Another think I noticed was the full track had the built in tool and the skinner xm18 did not.

Can anybody confirm if the Hinderer Maximus Textured Carbon Fiber scales actually have a cut out to move with the titanium linerlock as it appears at in this photo? @Jordan@DLT

Not sure exactly what you're basing that on, but if you look at the other photo on DLT there isn't a cut out visible.

Looks like the first set of photos you posted were the under side of the scale. This one is the side that actually shows when the scales are installed.
