That knife to me is the new and improved Benchmade 940-1701. Better built, better looking, better quality control, just miles ahead better in just about every category. I like my Benchmade knives, but IMO they don’t even come close to a Hinderer.

I do love the red accents on that 940 edition. Wish I had nabbed one.

I think it definitely looks better than any of their other 940 variations. I’m glad I got one when I did. I almost waited thinking it would be a normal production model just made exclusively for GG.
 
Purchased my first and only (so far) Hinderer, an XM-24 Skinny Slicer from USA Made Blade. I had it reprofiled by Josh at Razor Edge Knives, 15dps with a 17dps microbevel. Wow! It is really sharp and cuts great.

Whitty, I will post pictures soon. I have been kicking myself for not learning how to post pictures, but I will get that done.

Josh does wonderful work. I really like my Hinderer.

I've been fooling around lately with posting pics (no I didn't break it), so I just tested inserting some into the message box using 1) imgur BB code pasted into message body, 2) Direct Link URL from imgur pasted in using Image link at top of box, and 3) BF attachment from my files using More Options below then clicking on Upload a File. All seemed to work fine.

I don't have anything new Hinderer to show or share, but here's a pic of my Dragon taken in my shop last week.

Thanks Chazzy. Appreciate the offer and will take all the help I can get. I am sure there is a way I can post photos from my iPhone 8. I have been too much of a dumbass to learn how.

I have never posted pictures due to stupidity. I want to post pictures and will do so as soon as I figure out how. I’m sture it’s not all that difficult! It’s just me dragging my ass to learn.
