Got the new Gen 6 Hinderer in this morning. So far, it's really nice. I'll have to take some photos of it later today to post here.

ETA: This knife is just as smooth as my 0393 that I recently sold or my 0392s. It came with the bearings installed right out of the box. Even grinds on the blade, no blade play in any direction and perfectly centered. It drops shut easily. Also, another very sharp knife from the factory that doesn't make me feel the need to put it on the KME right off the bat. I'm very happy with it.

Some quick pictures. I really like the Battle Bronze and working finish blade combo. I am debating on changing the scale from brown to olive green. Not sure on that, though.

On one hand, the FDE scale will be closer in color to the bronze and blend in more. On the other, the coyote scale may give the knife a little more flare being lighter colored.

I say keep the coyote. It looks great with bronze ano hardware, IMO.

I also say stay with the coyote. Pictures never do that color justice... in person its a really nice looking scale

I like the coyote on that model . Even FDE would look great. But I'm not feeling the OD green on that one .

Thanks! So far, I really like it. I haven't changed out the washers. I did add a drop or two of oil to the bearings and the knife was instantly smoother. I'm guessing they don't oil the bearings very much at the factory. The knife is every bit as smooth as any of the ZTs I have that run on bearings. It opens solidly and drops shut without any help. I'm very impressed.
