Thanks. She flips great. Both of my 24s do. And they drop shut easily because of the weight of that blade.
I’m loving the 24s. After using these and switching to one of my 18s, they sure do feel small even though they're not. I am glad the Full Track lead me to getting a 24. Much happier with these.
Where I work they have a 4” blade limit, so any of my knives are ok and I get to play with and use them all the time so I’m never without one.
 
You guys are killing me, I already want another -24. I want to hold out for when more blade shapes hit the streets though so I can get some variety.

My brass hardware and tools just showed up. Picture coming shortly.

I don't think I've got this pivot screw thing down yet. When I first put it back together the blade wasn't centered, so I REALLY cranked down on it and now I think it is good to go but if I keep staring at it long enough I think it might have been better with the factory hardware. The action is a little different now, it fires a little harder and doesn't drop shut as easily which I actually find a bit of a relief for safety.

The handle nuts are slightly proud and they weren't before. I wonder if it is due to something I did though.

Hopefully I don't have to wait TOO long for the titanium scales to show up again. My armorer's tool also arrived without a 5/64ths bit. I used one of my Bondhus keys, I hope it was close enough not to mess anything up.

Hey guys hows the lockup on this Hinderer xm18 3 inch? Would you say its about 50-50?

Mine looks about the same from that view. Although, if you hold the knife up to the light it looks like a lot less is making contact.

yes it looks about 50/50, a lit later than my xm-18s but should be fine.

BTW, If you replace the scale, most often the lockup % changes as well.

Me, too. This finish is now my favorite. I’m glad I got one before DLT sold out of them. They do have some with blue or red scales, though.

Okay, does anyone know when the next drop of Half Tracks will be? Want a certain one not out now, but if not coming out til Summer I am going to spend the money I have aside for one on something else and save up again for one later. If just around the corner, then I will hold off.


And btw, I like that stonewashed DLC as well.
