Lets see some Hinderer action

What is the strategy for getting one of those laser cut clips? Just refresh his page a lot? Will more be made?

No strategy really. Just scoured the known online retailers/ distributors of Hinderer knives/accessories..

These probably came from two different sources, dont remember. There were G and P's, H and Q's..maybe a Monkey involved.?..honestly cant recall.

I didn't even know there was a monkey. Added that one to the list.

Here are a couple of stonewashed titanium items with brass accents (actually nickel aluminum bronze on the Grimsmo Saga) & neat logos. I always felt a bit “meh” towards the Hinderer Eklipse until I put this titanium scale on it last week. It totally changed the feel of the knife and it’s one of my favorites now. I like the Spanto Harpoon blade too.

This is my first Hinderer. This board is massive, so I'm not even sure how to approach searching for answers to my questions, so I've put them below.

It's a Gen 2, 3" XM-18, slicer. Was a BNIB safe queen. Just received it a few minutes ago.

Love the quality! Feels a little small, flipping is "interesting" compared to the Shiros that I've had (seems like more "travel" on the flipper tab?) and the jimping doesn't feel so great if I don't get my fingertip off of there quick enough when I flip it open. Doesn't drop shut (are these known to? Needs break in?).

It's a beauty. I changed the pocket clip to tip down ("the correct way") but otherwise no mods planned and it's ready for some serious use.

Apparently a "crowning achievement", Roland.

I see your masters have trained you well in the art of psyops. o_O

Get it in the mail already...would ya? ☺️

Got these ceramic XM18 bearings from ebay. Lousy iPhone docu for the disassembly thread, forgive the cross-post:
How do you like them? Is it a noticeable difference? A different feel?

I recently tightened my XM-18 pivot so it's not too drop shutty and a little more hydraulic feeling. I got tired of cutting my right thumb knuckle.

Love them. Very smooth. When you tighten the Pivot, the blade pulls itself into the center very easily, meaning the manufacturing quality is pretty good. And if you look closely, you see that there are steel washers against the Ti now, and that the bearings are actually double-row. I can recommend them.

Roland.

Who’s the manufacturer? Great idea incorporating the washers with the bearing set to protect the Ti! Kinda think Hinderer should have done that in the first place.
