I didn't even know there was a monkey. Added that one to the list.No strategy really. Just scoured the known online retailers/ distributors of Hinderer knives/accessories..
These probably came from two different sources, dont remember. There were G and P's, H and Q's..maybe a Monkey involved.?..honestly cant recall.
Give her my thanks as well...Will tell the boss when she gets up![]()
How do you like them? Is it a noticeable difference? A different feel?Got these ceramic XM18 bearings from ebay. Lousy iPhone docu for the disassembly thread, forgive the cross-post:

I recently tightened my XM-18 pivot so it's not too drop shutty and a little more hydraulic feeling. I got tired of cutting my right thumb knuckle.
Who’s the manufacturer? Great idea incorporating the washers with the bearing set to protect the Ti! Kinda think Hinderer should have done that in the first place.Love them. Very smooth. When you tighten the Pivot, the blade pulls itself into the center very easily, meaning the manufacturing quality is pretty good. And if you look closely, you see that there are steel washers against the Ti now, and that the bearings are actually double-row. I can recommend them.
Roland.
