Lets see some Hinderer action

I appreciate your concern and support! I do have it bad…
I'm in recovery myself...(though I allow myself a cheat day as needed)...so we have to look out for one another.

That said, I'm sure that my own personal lull will probably come crashing down someday soon. 🤣

I believe that it’s complacency that is our downfall. I went like 16 months without buying a knife and I carried the same one ( a little mnandi ) everyday of that time. I was feeling pretty good about myself and my choices. Thought I had control of those urges. Then one day I was just minding my own business and the mailman rings the bell and just like that it’s gone to hell!

Not sure if anyone's in the market for an XM-24 Bowie, but they're back in stock at RHK as of this post. :)

Anybody got some idea's where I can get some clip hardware to ditch the absolute dogsh*t phillips head screws?

What knife (xm24, 18, skinny?), and what do you want ? E.g., T8, T6, Steel or Ti, etc. These are 2-56 screws so there is plenty of choice ....

I have an Eklipse gen 2/3? (triway). Thanks for the thread size i can now look at bulk sites! makes it easier as i am not paying 25-30 bucks for a pair of Ti screws.

Just irks me that every piece of hardware is torx or proprietary (pivot) but then there is phillip's head screws for the clip..

If you are good with stainless, these should work, for instance: https://usaknifemaker.com/screw-2-56-button-head-3-16-thread-length-stainless-steel-t6-25ct.html

I always thought it funny that modern Eklipse and XM use Philipps (clip), flat (Pivot), proprietary (Pivot), torx (lbs), and hex (scale and lockbar insert) all at the same time :)

BTW, posted this before, but as a reminder, this works very well:

Very nice. Fantastic contrast to the blade.
My Eklipse carbon Fiber arrived Friday and is on its way back. I was surprised to not like it as I am a real carbon fiber fan.
Textured Ti battle blue in route to take its place.

Id love to get a fully textured Ti one..

But I am not at all impressed that hinderer wants to charge $40 to ship to me and only usps. I wouldn't see it for months based of my current USPS issues.

It's crazy how hard these textured Ti scales are to get. I've been hunting for years and have yet to snag the PJ stonewashed version I want. There are still some of the frag pattern G10 ones on Monkey Edge if that's of any interest, I like mine a lot!

Looking for XM-18 or Eklipse? Eklipse PJ Stonewashed scales in stock at the ranch right now.
