  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Lets see some Hinderer action

I like the all-Ti better, personally. Little bit of anodizing on the flats makes it a totally new ball of wax. Although I have to say the black G-10 on that one really looks nice. I didn't think a G-10 MP-1 would be my cup of tea but that definitely made a good impression.

I like to swap Phosphor Bronze washers into my Hinderers. One thing I liked about the MP-1 is it accepts way oversized washers on both sides. Here's a pic on the ones I'm running on my G10 vs the factory ones I took out.

The reason I like the phosphor bronze is it has a more hydraulic feel and with oversized ones you can run the pivot a little looser and the blade still centers perfectly. After a couple days breaking in with these washers this knife flips awesome I was able to firm up the detent and it flips like it's on bearings and centers perfectly. The lock up is also awesome, rock solid even before the lockbar engages you can't wiggle the blade at all.

I'd like a 3.5"-3.75" MP-1 with a smooth scale or a Eklipse with a spanto/spearpoint blade. It'll be a while before I see those though.

Just got a new theme done up late last night, "Electron" in titanium :D
Full thickness, liner delete and ano'd dark matte bronze and light gold.

Any blade play with the bigger washers?

MidnightSun that scale is the most insane thing I have ever seen! Very Very Nice Work!
