Lets see some Hinderer action

Oh of course the red comes in when I'm in between extra funds to burn on XM goodies lol I have been looking all over for Red G10 scales for XM-18. Only saw it once on BHQ on a red g10/blue ano Bowie. Of course it sold out before I even knew. Very interested in the red micarta.


Do these micarta scales delete the factory liner or do you keep it in?

Not only the cutting edge but the ti is like half as thick and smaller as well...its like comparing a 3.5 to an xm24....idk was just thinking out loud as the 3" use to be atleast a lil cheaper...like 30 or 40 cheaper i think...can't remember....for the same cost id just get a 3.5....

I agree, why not get the largest/most material for the buck. The Miller Brothers offer their fixed blades in 3V or ZWear and most are the same price for either steel. I go with the ZWear all the time because it's pretty similar but tougher. They hammered the tip of the ZWear through armor plating, giant concrete slabs, etc...and it was intact, it was awesome. But I digress...Same principle applies with these here. Good point about less Ti, too. I didn't even think about that at first. I think a fair price for 3" would be $375/$350. Never happen, I know lol But that's what I would consider paying.

Have only owned 1 Hinderer and that was more than enough for a lifetime for me. Not to be a hater but a flipper that doesnt flip is simply out not acceptable. Dont care how you wanna justify it. I just dont see why he doesnt use caged bearings or IKBS. I understand his philosophy of a hard use folding knife but i guarantee you (my personal estimate) that 70% or more of people who own a XM or similar dont use it really hard and bearings will not decrease its thoughness that much. Besides people who spent that kind of $$$ on a folding knife are either fanboys, loaded or collectors.

Im sure i stepped on many toes but i just cant see myself ever owning another XM. To each his own i guess.

Troll much. A flipper that doesn't flip? They flip beautifully if you tune them properly and know what you're doing. Actually it's a very easy thing to do. To each his own though. I am not "loaded" or a "fanboy" or whatever that junk means. I use mine every day for various reasons and I've found it to be excellent. Maybe you should get yourself a Kershaw. You don't come off as a hater, you come off as a jerk when you call us "fanboys" for liking Hinderers.

Well in all fairness it's ff or add 3%....not straight up requiring f&f....i do that as well sometimes...especially if I've already come down enough on the asking price....but i also have a flawless rep that backs up the trust for f&f....atleast on fb , not as much activity in that sense on the forums.
