There were a few stonewashed on the site....i wouldn't really think that even if there were less stonewashed it would really ever bring a premium bc of that ....its not a 1 off run or special variant....I'd do it however you want.

They likely did that as many want working finish these days....

Except that it is a one off run and a special variant.

Very few battle black also. No idea what it will do to value, probably nothing.
Yea i highly doubt it'll ever go for a premium....its just stonewashed lol hell the way things are on the secondary you can't even get face value on new blades....1 offs aren't even moving at a premium...guy has been trying to sell custom ano and etched blade spear point for months at a bottom dollar price even and still hasn't moved.

No its not a 1 off or special variant..they just ordered less with a stonewashed finish....its a regular production finish.

One offs are custom anos, etched frame,or blade or similar out of the ordinary finishes all done by the ranch.

I'm not expecting to ever receive a premium for the knife, just wondering how much anodizing would decrease the value.

So what you're saying is that stonewashed XMs in M390 with no choil are very common?

Do whatever you want, I'm not gonna sit here and argue with you...if you feel the precious stonewashed no choil spanto is something special than so be it.

I'm not trying to say I have a $1000 knife. Just that there were only a few made exactly like this one.
Just asking for opinions. You've made yours abundantly clear.
Thanks!

I was simply trying to realistic with you, it's just a stonewashed finish...while i any several other prefer this finish, from watching the hinderer groups and discussions it seems the majority like and want working finish or other finishes over the stonewash...even recent releases reflect this where they're all working finish.

Now if we were talking about a more sought after knife like the harpoon spanto, or even more so the harpoon spear point then yea having one of only a hand full of stonewashed made might be a worthy thing to keep mint.

Honestly the stonewashed no choils were in Stock for awhile while others finishes sold out...i looked at em several times trying to convince myself i wanted it....but i like the choil...

Ya you didn't need 2 :)

2 is 1, and 1 is none... so i don't have a 3" under those guidelines lol

Nice guidelines. You better snag the black one that's left

Nahh I'll wait....cause then I'd have to buy a trans scale for and next thing you know I'm $500 deep in b4 adding and steel flame lol

I got my new 3" slicer for $280 so had room to upgrade it.. I'll snag one secondary for cheaper prolly the way things have been lately.

Ya I wish I could add sf hardware to my knives but I just can't justify the cost.. I'd rather have more knives for now. Maybe in the future they'll become more available. Doubtful, but we can hope.

Just prepare yourself for how small it is, i was shocked when i first got it. Almost just flipped it, but it grew on me.. makes a great low profile carry or a suit knife (especially if you can find a smooth cf scale) will be even better with a deep carry clip that's said to be coming soon.

Alas i don't wear a suit unless someones dead so mine goes in the coin pocket lol

Absolutely love my 3" Wharnie, perfect size for what I use it for. Bobby3326 is right, 3" is to 3.5" as 3.5" is to 4" xm-24

I'm really excited to see it, I was planning on getting a spearpoint 2 days ago, then I decided to get the fatty wharnie. I just sold my skinner today thinking I would get a spearpoint but alas, I ordered the 3". Spearpoint eludes me another day. but I need a smaller profile knife for church and longer road trips.
