Lets see some Hinderer action

Hey Whitty, as for the closing of the 1/2track, is it as comfortable as the MP1? I have opened and closed the MP1 before and found it a dream and could do it 500x and no thumb soarness. Is the 1/2 anywhere near that good?

I know exactly what you mean. The MP-1 has to be one of the easiest to close that has been made. The Half Track is a little tighter. You might have a little soarness after 500X but it want be bad:D

The Half Track is awesome. Scott Whittington at USA Made Blade put one up in the giveaway section a few weeks ago and I was fortunate enough to win it. I've been acquiring knives for a long time but this is my first Hinderer...it won't be my last. Thank you Scott, thank you Rick Hinderer, and thank you Bladeforums.

Nice! And got it on a giveaway. That's even better. I have decided one of these is not in my future; just can't justify the expenditure. There is a dollar line I just can't seem to cross and these Hinderers are beyond it dang it.

Thank you for taking the time to post a pic and mention us. It was not necessary but greatly appreciated. I hope you carry it, use it, and find as much joy out of it as I truly do with my Half Tracks!

I'm back from Vermont, but didn't take any sweet outdoorsy knife pics. We spent the good weather days exploring our gorgeous new woods up the road and gazing at the awesome view up top. I did spend the big rain day working on knives and added a Hinderer Alpha bead to my newly REK re-ground XM24. Here's my little herd again, but with all my horses properly decked out now.

And a tight shot of the Alpha bead on 550 cord with two elongated crown and diamond knots.
