The detail work on them is amazing, especially when you consider it is all done with a laser and anodizing on the ti liner. I understand what you are saying though. My knives get carried and used and I can not see myself carrying one of these as it is a work of art. Here is a closer shot of one just to see the detail a little better!

The sun finally came out a bit after a dreary weekend here on the Cape, so I took the herd outside for a group shot. We've had a guest pony in the corral the last couple weeks as one of our great members here sent him over for a test ride. I wasn't really that taken with the HalfTrack at first blush, but I was told it'd grow on me and it certainly has. I was given license to use it as my own, sharpening and tweaking as I wished, so I put a fresh, mirror-polished 20 dps edge on it and tuned up the action so it flips great and is a wicked cutter now.

whitty what do you think of the Half Track Tantos?

If it is a Half Track I love it. The Tanto honestly is very nice. I like the fact that the tip does not get too thin and I also like the look with the way it makes all the lines look perfect. It is a tough little folder!
