The leather pants for my HB should be here by the end of next week. It’s a great blade, I’ve used it on three occasions and am very pleased. A smaller handle is not a bad thing, I get hand fatigue quickly from larger handles on small/medium sized knives.

The sheath from Patriot Leather arrived and I’m thrilled with it. I think am entire cow was used in its construction. I’ll get this combo out on a short hike Saturday.

No, the Hb has similar dimensions to my Fallkniven A1 (standard model) so I based the sheath off of that.

Nice pix guys! I had to have the shop hold mine for a bit.

I'm happy that the blade is thinner on this one. I've got some thick blades and I like them, but having a thinner slicer will be nice to round out my collection and will make q great edc belt knife for when I'm not planning on needing a huge slab of bacon.

I'm going to strip mine promptly and polish it, sand down the scales a bit, and carry the snot out of it. For what I got this for, being slicy yet tough is the intended idea and polished seems to provide that IMHO.
