Let's see those Hog Badger pics

I went with the black canvas and satin because it will be used for hunting so I thought less slippery but seeing those black g10's makes me wish I went with that instead. Money wasn't an issue it was a tough choice actually

I agree, those HB’s in black g10 look great!!!!! The black G10 will darken in time with use or I may speed it up with some mineral oil. Mine are supposed to arrive today!!! One black micarta / satin and the other maroon / DC combo.

They’re here!!!! Here are some solo pics as well as with friends!
For anyone that doesn’t have a Hog Badger yet I recommend finding one. I love the fit, feel, and balance of this blade and can’t wait to put it to work!!! Just need the sheath to arrive from David Brown. (ordered this morning).

Ditto above - I am not a fan of bruiser in general, although I don't think a knife in any configuration with these scales doen the way they are will look nothing short of gorgeous.

That red/black looks fantastic.

Dude - killer collection - those are some real deals right there boiii!!!

Also - cannot say enough about the Park Rangers - what a blade and design. I have been using for daily chores. Thought I would sell one, and I think I might keep both for multiple bags/car placement.

Love the brown and tan TG!!!

Thanks. Yes, both are black canvas. That's one of my favorite handle options.
Wow, thanks for your reply! I thought it is black canvas, but compared to your other Hog Badger (HB), there is a very noticeable difference between the look of the top/bottom of the grips on the 2 knives – for those not aware of this, in the 1st photo in this post notice how black the bottom of the micarta is on the satin HB compared to the top of the coated HB (the same difference can be seen in the top of the grips of both knives in the 2nd photo in this post).

Black canvas micarta has always been my favorite, ever since the days of the SHSHII and the SHBM. When I received my satin/black canvas HB, I was really disappointed by the blackness of the top and bottom of the micarta. The difference between your two HBs really makes me wonder why the black canvas micarta looks so different – different batches maybe? I realize everyone has different tastes, but does the look (blackness on the top and bottom of the grips) of the new black canvas micarta bother anyone else? Thanks for your replies.

Yes, you are very observant. The satin knife handles are much different intexture and and smoothness. It's almost like the resin was thicker. I like both and they'll ultimatly end up being smooth and dark black after much use :D

My BG HB has the lighter black canvas. I prefer the darker stuff but I guess that's the way it goes. When one batch gets used up, the next might be different.

I have to say I am warming up to the HB ! I was surprised a little in that the grip as a whole was smaller than i expected (I have a SOB so was thinking of something hand filling but a bit less belly). The more I handle it the more I like it and for many many people this could easily be "the one". I would add that out of the box it is one of the sharpest Busse knives I have received. @elof_alv just has to pry his away from me now... ;)

The edge in mine was also one of the best I've gotten on BG or CG blade. Most noticeably, the evenness from one side to the other was dead on all the way out to the tip where quite often they are off a bit. Wish I knew who sharpened it.

I'm so upset!!! Mine were supposed to be delivered by Brown on Wednesday. They never deliver until late in the day between 5 & 6, I left work early Wednesday (I always have them shipped to my company so there will always be someone available to sign for the package). When I got to work Thursday, I didn't see any Busse package in the office so I immediately re-tracked the package and it said undeliverable to address as "Addressed". Well it's the same address as I've had the last 20 or more OP2WKS boxes sent to. The package had already been sent "Return to Sender." By Thursday afternoon it had already made it From Houston to Memphis. The packages never move that fast getting to me but seems to be flying on its way Back To Waseon. I don't understand, it's the same address I have always used. I just use the drop down menu when ordering & the address is already there. I never change it. Now I have to wait for a complete re-shipment once it gets back to Ohio.
This Bites, they were so close yet so far away,

Ugh! When UPS went to deliver mine my wife didn't hear the driver knock or ring the doorbell and she was right there in the front room waiting for it. I got the notice on my phone that it was going to be rerouted for pick-up at a liquor store the next town over. She tells me "Oh hell no it wont!". My wife called UPS, got the drivers cell number and made him meet her at one of his other stops. Lol!

The leather pants for my HB should be here by the end of next week. It’s a great blade, I’ve used it on three occasions and am very pleased. A smaller handle is not a bad thing, I get hand fatigue quickly from larger handles on small/medium sized knives.
