LETS SEE THOSE MAGNIFICENT HARNESS JACKS

Thanks Michael, and thank you to everyone who puts in their great HJ's here..
I have just very recently received the elusive early HJ of Charlies earlier fantastic efforts with the production of these wonderful knives, which I am so very thankful for the last owner selling them to me, what a privilege my friend - thank you once again......
I hope you like them!

Very beautiful and apparently rare Sarah.:)

Thanks! It's now "1 of 1," after a fashion-- its original celluloid covers evidently began to decompose and started to take the steel with 'em, warranting the rehandle. You can see some of the consequence near the main blade's spine.

(If I am recalling the details aright. Charlie will be able to clarify. Of Course.)

A beauty Robin - add a little more black and little white and it is almost a SKUNK JACK!:D:D

I like the dead skunk acrylic a bit too much, I must focus. I just grabbed a St. Patricks 61 with sheepsfoot and pen. That's wayyy off track. FOCUS.:D

Bes regards

Robin

It was a pleasure Handling that HJ!---a very massive and impressive knife---WOW!!!

Plus throw in those HJ3's...it was hard to mail off that package:D

Seriously, it's always a true pleasure to handle such fine knives my friend, thank you:cool:

I was away when you posted this knife Sarah! At one time it had waterfall celluloid I believe. Beautiful for a short while, it is beautiful now, in a different way!
And the only queen-era HJ without a shield. There were some GEC-era ones in Stag without shields.

WOW Duncan - your collection is stunning, my friend - pure eye candy for the masses!:eek::thumbup::thumbup:;)

I snatched up another old Primble HJ for my collection a while back.:

John Primble India Steel Works Bare Head Harness Jack with bone handles, 3.5 inches closed, made after 1902 and before 1916!! Or thereabouts!!: :D

Thank you for the nice comments Paul.:thumbup::)

Nothing wrong with your memory - I was on a "made in the USA" kick the past few days and turned up the red white and blue on my avatar. :o:D

Back to my more muted Avatar now. :)
