LETS SEE THOSE MAGNIFICENT HARNESS JACKS

Thank You my friend, I must take some decent shots of this, and the Fox Wooden Handled Jack that was also included in the package!!!!! as you say Robin, a buy of the lifetime and a gift of the same included....I was stunned.
We will speak soon matey - see you soon.

Virginian Sir - when could a Chamblin NOT be welcome in ANY Thread? That is a VERY nice knife!!! Thank you for sharing that one with us, and I must mention it's not often that you hear of someone ordering a Custom HJ - so thank you very much for keeping the HJ going in your own way!!!

Thanks for the kind words. And as others have said, congrats on that Fox. Simply an amazing find!

I have some other custom HJs, too, from some other well-known modern slip joint makers. And some others on order. Too hard to find nice vintage pieces with all you guys out there running around snagging them all up. So I had to find a different way. I have also managed here and there to get hold of some of Charlie's SFO knives.

I do have a White Whale out there. A Tony Bose HJ in ATS-34 steel with stag scales and marked "Prototype" that I have only seen in pictures. Would not be surprised if someone who frequents this thread might have that whale locked away in their own private seaquarium. :)

Anyway, I'll try to post up some more pictures as I get time, if you guys don't mind some of these modern pieces.

This is a Schatt & Morgan that Charlie so graciously gifted me. He knew I was a Schatt junkie

Blade and punch are full, the bone is just out of this realm!!

Just truly a Beauty ! Thank You Charlie!!!
My very 1st old original S&M Harness Jack

Dave

It's about time I got around to posting this Beauty

Here's a couple oldies I picked up recently, a Keen Kutter and an OVB. Not as minty as Dave's Schatt but the punches are both pretty full.

I have been in a VERY lucky position to be able to purchase a couple of really hard to get HJ's, and also gifted some as well - just to me an almighty happening - so Gentleman....MASSIVE MASSIVE Thanks to you fellows, you have REALLY helped step up my collection of HJ's...
I was SO lucky to be able to buy this wonderful wonderful Pearl HJ......I must apologise for the very poor photo's as I was rushing at the end, abut this in no excuse to take very ordinary photos od a very beautiful knife.
When you see this knife "in the flesh" you just KNOW that you are holding a wonderfully built - beautiful knife....

The Pearl is just magnificent....

I can't find some words to express what true gratitude I feel towards people who gift knives to other knife lovers, I am just trying to find a way of saying thank you to the gentleman who have helped me - Charlie is one who started me off - helping immensely with not only awesome generosity - but his way of very steady guidance - but also to the people who contact me about the HJ's, and then there are people who send me HJ's...like the above mentioned Green Bone Beauty, but this following HJ was waiting in a package for me - sent by Maresharp (Mark)...Now Mark you have really given me a wonderful knife, one that will go aside the other very precious knives in my collection that were gifted to me - as these knives mean more to me than anything!!!

**please bear with me- finding photo's through extensive library- during maintenance **

I bow in reverence to your awesome collection, Duncan. Really remarkable. I especially like that pair of mint first generation CC SFO Harness Jacks from Schatt & Morgan - that crimson one is just wow.

Thanks so much for sharing those here for us mere mortals to drool over!
