I brought your nice Valley Forge over to this page to compare it to mine, Rob!! Nice job spiffing it up without losing its heritage!!Valley ForgeHJback.jpg Valley ForgeHJbackTangs.jpg Valley ForgeHJebony.jpg Valley ForgeHJebonyTangs.jpg

If a harness jack is one with the blade and punch at the same end, what would a knife with one blade and a punch located at opposite ends be called?
I have a small collection of knives with punches. Seems like an odd thing to collect, but there you go o_O
IIRC this is the only one that's a true harness jack. Nice knife.

Just like a Jack with a blade at each end can be called a double-end Jack, A harness Jack with the punch at the opposite end, can be called a double-end Harness Jack, Mike!!
Nice S&M!!

First HJ ala VF 3.jpg Nice Schatts, Mike!!:D
Oh man Rob that’s a sweetheart!

Charlie matey - somewhat of a exceptional HJ !!! Wow! Love their Punch!!!

What a fantastic HJ - Whew!!!
Duncan and Rob, VF's punch is what inspired me to ask Ken to make an HJ! The punch inspired Ken to make his first one!!:DFirst HJ ala VF 1.jpg First HJ ala VF 2.jpg

Here's another HJ, modeled after an Old Timer with a "gouge-type" punch! Again a first-timer, this time by Bill Ruple!! He followed the original, (which I've forgotten) right down to replicating the blade wear!! Ha ha!! The gouge works great - I cut a lot of holes in belts - all the exact same size!!:D Great maker!!:)Ruples first 1.jpg Ruples first 2.jpg

Ruple’s Knives are simply right you there! This one is certainly no different Charlie! What was this amazing knife modelled from from?

I don't recall seeing a punch like the Ruple. It would certainly make consistent size holes
So Charlie, are you saying that unlike the rest of us, you need holes farther up your belt to cinch up the slack? You must be very disciplined in isolation!:D And that is an amazing Ruple!
I'll remember the model for the Ruple eventually, guys!!
Dave, on my "Less Carbohydrate" diet, I've gone from 236 to 208, and pretty much dodged diabetes!! As long as I keep this up, I will be OK!! It's almost a year, so I hope to keep it off, and keep shrinking!!:D
