Lets see what you drive

Can't legally drive for a year, and then only with a limited learner's permit...but
Here's the pap's toy (none of these are my photos, but it looks exactly like this one)

Already posted but I wanted to share my cars new look. I took the stock spoiler off, so far I really like it. Lowered 1.5" all around with 15" wheels and it will be perfect, but I've not done that yet.

Sure is nice to have a local driving job now. No more OTR, no more crappy Freightliner, no more lumpers to pay to unload the trailer... And this thing turns a hell of a lot better than a Freightshaker with a 53 foot reefer :D

Impreza RS?

Yep.

I was a little concerned going from a 97 Ford T-bird with a 4.6l v8 that the 2.5l 4cyl would be a bit of a system shock. But the little Impreza has some power behind it, but not as much torque.

Fun as hell to drive too!

Got this two weeks ago and love it.

1994 Jeep ZJ 4.0, 42RE, 231, D30/D35. Old school--designed by AMC in 1985 before Chrysler took over and started selling them in 1993. Engine traces its lineage back to the Rambler in the '60s.

One of these days I'll get around to modding it. Already have the 2" lift on the shelf. Steel bumpers, rocker sliders, etc would go a long way. Even stock it's better than most modern SUVs off road.

I'm a huge fan of the "scruffy but nice 10 year old luxury car". They're affordable, well built, unique, and fun.
My daily driver is a '97 Lincoln Mark VIII ...
I had a Mark VIII until recently too. Mine was a '95, blue with a moonroof. Nicest car I ever owned. Ten times more comfortable than Wife's Lexus. Sadie (dog) could stand on the center console with her head out the roof. One time a guy was following us all over, trying to take her picture. :)

Sadly, once I bought the Honda S2000 I rarely drove the Lincoln. So I sold it to some friends and they still drive it every day, including long distance trips.

That car got great mileage too, 28-32 depending on speed limit and wind.

It's sad that Lincoln refuses to make another two-door, for almost ten years now. There was the Mark 9 and Mark X that they hauled around to car shows, but they dreams unfulfilled.

Ouch. I could never sell it if it was mine. If I can't have it, nobody can! :D

no joke

i fell in love with the Impreza from driving an RS back in 2001, and bought a WRX (they wouldn't let me test drive on of those)
