Let's see your Charlie SFOs

I can see why those are your Favourites Trand! - beautiful knives Sir.

I recently acquired this Beauty - what a absolute AWESOME knife, another for my HJ collection .......

Thanks Duncan!! Great looking HJ too!! While the #48s are my favorite, that's not to say I don't like the #15s...

All nice knives but they don't look like they were used. Please use.:p
Yeah, I always take pics when new and only sometimes update the pics. While the barlows have moved on to new homes, the top radio jack as well as the top DE jack are both users.

Ok Robin, thought I would take a couple of shots today - I ended up taking the photos very late in the day-quite grey light.......

Here is another of Charlie's most awesome SFO's, I know I don't stand alone in saying that I feel that the SFO's that Charlie has put out are some of the best production knives that we have seen, this one is MOST definitely one of them.....

The Golden Root Bone is just superb in every way, as is the complete knife, fit and finish, walk and talk, everything about this knife is just stunning.......

Please excuse the reflection in the blade - the blade is Mint.....

Another stunning knife, this is simply awesome, I find it hard to describe this knife, as trying to capture a true description in words is difficult...

And exactly the same goes for this unbelievable knife, the 66 takes a whole lot of beating....

OK Duncan - now I am drooling sir!:D

That top knife is just off the charts!

I think maybe some of you guys have been holding out on us - just a wee bit. :p

Wow Duncan!.....I agree with Primble, that top knife is amazing! Would love to get my hands on one of those for sure. When was that model released? Missed it.

Peter

Glad you were able to add that beauty to your wonderful collection Duncan. Charlie was kind enough to sell me one last year. It sure has the scariest punch of all :D and the jigging is like nothing else out there. It reminds me of the surface of some meteorites. Nice catch Bro, good on ya.

Best regards

Robin

This is a HUGE favorite. It's new to my rotation but wow have I grown to love this knife and it's given me a major appreciation for the Stockman pattern. This is a #66 Calf Roper in Blood bone by our hero Charlie :)

Campbellclanman,

The Golden Root knife is ......well,....., I can't think of any words to describe how...... it is! Wow!!!!

And to the Post!

I started my traditional folder collecting when I was browsing this forum and saw a picture of TC Spear Point Barlow in what I think was Blood Red, might have been Rust Red, sawcut bone. It piqued my interest so to speak.

I joined up and have been collecting ever since. It's only been for around a year but I've had great fun reading many posts and looking at many, many knives. Thanks to all of you.

My Charlie SFO's.

In Canada you say?
Nice to see a collection this side of the border! Nice going, Ken!

I consider myself fortunate, that I can share my dreams of quintessential knifery with all of you, whichever place in the world you set down roots!!

There's a growing thread of history in this thread. Nice to see it pop up every once in a while!

I remember well when Bill at GEC decided to give in to my entreaties, and experiment on that Calf Roper (and the Bullwinkle J.Moose) with some peachseed jigging. The effects have spread beyond my SFOs into other patterns as well!

I thought about waiting till the new Barlows were delivered but couldn't resist adding these today.

Your knife is starting to grow on me, Barry! It looks like the handles came from a curmudgeonly old Buck, who has been in a few tussles!
The Does usually like someone who will stand up for them!

I haven't been around in a while so this is news to me. Way to go Charlie and kudos to GEC for recognizing a true expert on old knives.

What is the story behind Eric's Jack? Who, what, when, where and why? :D

The Eric's Jack started as the runner-up in this year's BF traditional knife polls. An offering from Canal Street in 440C stainless. There was enough of a demand for them that Charlie and John Lloyd teamed up to order a small run of them to be made. They are named in honor of the cutler at Canal Street who made them, Eric.

All the SFOs look great but that sawcut sheepsfoot Charlow is the top of the pile for me. A real beauty!
