I like a good conversation piece, Jack, from fleams and castrators to melon testers and WWII paratrooper push buttons. As long as it will cut. I'm big on cutting:

Has probably been posted over and over... but whatever, when I think of a good old basic fixed blade, I can't help it, these pop up...

The laminated Mora is The King of working knives!
I have used them for well over 50 years by now and they are a part of my daily life.

As a Knifenut I find them quite boring, but as a Carpenter I can't be without them.
Simple, lightweight and holds an edge very well.

Me too Stuart, I see it as a piece of fun, but it has already seen some use, it's nice to see Condor using 1095 I like that one too

Thank you and I told Karl the same thing when I got it in the mail lol. The steel is some of Don Hanson’s W2, the handle is spalted maple.

Bark River Boone. Its one of the older ones in 52-100.It actually was my first Bark River about 10 years or so ago.
