This is a Solingen Olsen 13 inch Bowie styled Hunter, in my years of collecting I have only seen one other 13 inch Olsen with this Turkish Clip Styled Blade and Factory File Work and that knife was in ruins - the Blade has not been modified in any way, you do see only now and then the 10 inch versions of this Knife, but never have I seen another of this bad Boy other that that one- many years ago now that was.

I've never seen one of those. Very nice.

The Top Or Bottom one? Are those the 10 inch versions?
"
Sorry, the top one is a Green River boning knife wearing the antler that came off the 8" Olsen Solingen Bowie. The bottom one is the 8" Olsen, still wearing the original guard in front of the bigger one I put on to harmonize with the bigger handle I put on to encapsulate the tang so I wouldn't fret about rust.
Not the world's best picture, as usual.
I had to grind down the teardrop shape of the GR handle to get the straight antler onto it.

Nice Ideal! I have seen those little wrenches for sale on Ebay. More money than I thought they were worth. I have toyed with the idea of buying a really big Chinese screwdriver at Harbor Freight and filing the tip into a suitable tang nut wrench.

Golf stores have tools to tighten the spikes on golf shoes . . . the spacing might work for the butt nut.

I have used the tips of a leatherman wave pliers to tighten them in the past. It works because a wave has squarish tips.
Misplaced Hillbilly Misplaced Hillbilly stole my thunder.
I've thought about filing one from a screwdriver, but what I've always used is the tips of needle-nosed pliers.
