Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

Can't let this great thread sink too far!
My very first rehandle job gets a new sheath

Thanx guys, I did that one a while ago.
Recently smoothed over the ridges some and decided that it needed a sheath.

Coniferwoodsman, that looks like a good companion there.

Here's a Ray Laconico gaucho-inspired knife. O1 blade, koa handle, mild steel bolster.

Well these all have sentimental value to me, the one on the left is my grandfathers. As the story goes my grandad (an artist among many other things) was asked by a higher up in the mafia to paint a portrait for him, and as a gift was given this knife. It doesn't have a stamp or any markings on it, its very thick and well used. The middle and right ones were my dads, and he got them from his father, I know they are german but that's as much as I have, the middle is stag and the right end one is stacked leather. Sorry for the poor quality pic guys I only have my cellphone.

Here's a Bark River Rogue. I'm very fond of this knife, but to be honest it scares me a bit. 7" of razor sharp steel with no handguard makes you pay real close attention to proper knife usage.

I freeking love that! got a link to them? definately a fixed blade I could EDC :)

Here's a shot of most of mine. All production knives. I've got a "thing" about the Schrade "little finger" series. The white handle one was a "factory second". Not sure why, but it's a great little knife. Not much of a bread slicer though.

When I learned Charles had a new large model, I had to have one. Really happy with this Big Island Skinner.

Thank you Joe for that :D
I have owned lots of Solingens, and they tend to be quite a generic shape-although nice ( Im talkng the 50's to early 70's ), but these Olsens were one that just shines from the rest- the shape of the blade is original and not modified..you see the 10 inch models of these relatively regularly, I have only ever seen one ( 13 inch ) other-and it was way beyond retrievable.
Whats the wood on the Big Island Skinner-loving that blade!!
