  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

Old chromed Ka-Bar marine hunter. Sorry- I need to get some brighter lights.

I hope you get the time to take a family photo soon. Those are truly spectacular knives.

You asked.... :D

(I added the 12-9, 2 Maloshes and a little Scagel to the mix....)

The Hammermark Camp by Jim Sr. is the latest addition, and just arrived today. It's signed by him and included some vintage articles on the Treeman.

I've been told by Deanna Behring that this is only the second knife he's signed, I feel very fortunate to be in possession of it. It's VERY impressive!

Outstanding people, that's what I like in a maker!.... :D

Sorry, the pics are gone, as are the knives...

Hes pulled me out of the crap enough times to prove his worthiness.... FES

I know the type.. YUP, I have the honor of having several very good friends of mine that I can truly say, would, and have, done anything and what ever it took to help me out of a bad jam!. Or, into a real good fortunate gig!. Unfortunately, those type of folks are very few and far between.. I can count mine on one hand..

Consider yourself lucky to have one, and luckier still to have more.

. . . . . Outstanding people, that's what I like in a maker!.... :D

The Behrings are indeed the BEST, no question!. You should be very proud of those signed knives! I've not seen any others before these! Great family shot too.

I put the black micarta pinned, white paper micarta handle on this Jantz kit blade.
I call it "Snake Eyes"

Thank you Alan. Congrats on that group. Those are truly works of art.

Thanks for the group shot! I understand the scale of each of them better, seeing them together like this.

That's what I like in people. ;)

Beautiful shot of beautiful knives. I hope you're enjoying the view (and the heft, and the balance, and the quality of the maker and the work, and...). :)

Very sweet and well executed, Ebb!. You made a Jantz kit knife into a sublime and elegant cutting tool!!.

Dad's Western, and a Gerber and a Queen that belonged to grandpap. (Who won them in shooting matches, as you can see from the engravings.) The Western has come with me on plenty of hikes over the years, but I've never been able to convince myself to put the trophy knives to work.

I didn't know the Gerbers went back that far. I wish I'd bought more of those flat blades in the 70s. I like the curved belly and straight point on the Western, too.

Thanks for showing Your Behring masterpieces!
I'm a great admirer of the work from the Behring family.
I don't own one, but the craftmanship is very inspiring, yet very hard to duplicate!:)

Yea, that Western is the cat's pajamas! Love it!

SweptEdge, thanks. It doesn't have a belt attachment, just a pocket sheath, so I made that cut-out in order to make it easier to get it in & out of the sheath.

Smithhammer, that is really knice.

Smithhammer, those Northwoods Scagels are beautys and Your Bird&Trout is one of the nicest I've seen.

The #9 has found the way to my inventory.
Not anything like the Treeman's but fairly true to the Scagel Original knife and at affordable quotes.
