Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

I first thought this was for traditional knives but after reading everything I hope this is what you meant..
It's a few that I have and use.

It's a few that I have and use or maybe the pic won't show up because I am just a registered user not a paid one.

Usually you have to link to a hosted picture ie. Photobucket

Is this the image you'd like to post?

-- Your attempt didn't work because you placed the image's *web page* address between the image brackets.

Going to that page, I could see the link you needed, there at the right:

Clicking on that link immediately copies it in the correct format to display here. Come here and "paste" it into your post, and you're good to go. :)

(Hope this helps. Nice knives!)

This thread IS for traditional knives. But we give a certain amount of leeway for fixed blades. Yours are close enough to fit in.

Nice looking group of knives.

THANKS! to the Traditional team for helping out someone new!

here is one I found at an antique show in Texas in the 90's. looks like a handmade scandi knife, with the point shaped as if or sticking. I wonder how the maker got the brass band around the front of the handle. he carefully inlet the butt to insert a washer to peen the tang over. somebody put it on a grinding wheel, yet it still sharpens easily. the handle reminds me of the ancient Norse scandi handles. kinda like this ole feller. maybe I should regrind the blade on my stones and take out the scratches

I found this Ontario 6-89 in our front yard several years ago. No one ever came for it, so I have kept it. My son used it for a while on some outdoor adventures, but he mostly uses his much lighter Mora now for those tasks, so this one is back with me.

Headed my way shortly after the sheath work.

Commissioned this one with TK late last year. It is his Woods Scalpel in Stabalized Amboyna burl in CPM-154. 9.75 oal with a 5 inch blade.

Here are some older Remingtons. At top is RH-35, offered with this stamp 1925-1932, 5.25 inches. In center is RH-38, only offered 1926-1930, 8 inches, with factory file work on spine. At bottom is RH-34, the DuPont version rather than UMC, 1933-1940, 5 inches. The Grail knife for this grouping, and not owned, would be the RH-40, with a TEN inch blade with file-worked spine! Not shown here is a RH-36, 1925-1932, 6.25 inches. It wouldn't fit in the scanner with the others, and they all look about the same anyway. Yes, I do have the sheaths... somewhere.
