Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

Thanks Jack. I had a feeling you'd like this one, having remembered you prefer flat ground knives with this blade profile.

You have a good memory my friend :) Yep, it ticks all the boxes for me

Had this one a while....found it again recently.

Close enough to be a PHOTO finish. :D

How about a Western combo I've carried out and about?

The LT Wright Patriot is the newest in, arriving with this sheath:

I carried it all week, along with a GEC #38 Farmer's Jack, in this KSF Pocono pocket sheath. Ignore the mis-aligned lumps; I'd previously wet-formed the sheath to two different blades/tools, and am using it now with these to see how I like it. I really do!

The sheath keeps both items upright and aligned in my pocket-- back pocket, for me. Lacking even the semblance of leather-stitchy skills, I'm thinking of adding another Pocono and breaking it in more 'generically'-- although the Arno Bernard Porcupine might be a challenge to secure even so, being so much skeenier spine-to-blade/handle than the others.

The Patriot with a BHK Patch Knife:

I love the Patch Knife, but the Patriot's slightly wider handle proportions really serve it well-- it feels much more direct and secure in use.

The Patch Knife is better finished, but not by much-- the differences could be due as much to whomever finished the particular knives on a given day as to an actual change in approach between the two knife models/companies.

Both, all, are wee blades indeed-- note the GEC #15 (3.5" closed, just under 6.25 OAL when open) in the mix:

Only three small fixies to speak of at the moment, one minty BHK frontier trapper. One Bark River Adventurer, this rides in the sheath or in a kydex neck carry as well as the Battle Horse Knives North river.

Pert, that Arno Bernard is a lovely little sticker! All his knives have such terrific flow and grace to them,
he must have had some formal art training, or else he is just a true prodigy. for the whole group.
