Oh I'm sorry Samon! I saw Albion and thought New York State!
How about that? I just learned something new. I have a lady friend from Britain. I will have to try that out on her to see if she knew that.Albion is the oldest known name for the British isles!
I've never seen a Mora like that! I like it.A Mora Laminated Skinner

Looks brand new!Got this last week, looked for one for years.
An older Frosts Laminated Forest Hunter (called the Forest 345 these days)

6" Swedish Laminated Carbon blade 1/8" thick at the spine and had the factory edge when I got it. A couple of licks on a fine diamond stone and it's an absolute razor.
Here it is compared to a Mora 731 (carbon) which is another big ole razor.

It's a gem for sure.I think it's been handled, looked at, maybe even carried around on a belt once and then it was stuck into a sock drawer for 30+ years. Still had the factory edge on it.
So here are some "before" pictures:

And then the same knife after regrinding the blade, compressing, shortening slightly and then refinishing the handle:

I do not try to make a knife to look like new, I sort of try to remove minimum material for the maximum effect.
