Let's see your Scout/Camp knives

Beautiful knives and pictures Primble Primble

Charlie waynorth waynorth you sure know how to put on a show, some fine examples. Your Remington surveyor is the only other scout knife I can recall seeing the slanted bolsters like was done on my Empire scout. Yours seems to have a frame like I have seen on rail splitter patterns.

Nice one Paul, Robeson always has such amazing bone, I like the shield on that one too!

pistonsandgears Thank you the compliment in regards to the Robeson and Fantastic Schrade and Empire examples

Charlie, so many wonderful Scouts but I really like the Buffalo

Do you think it's un-official, Thomas??
I think it might be un-official too. It needs more investigation. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😳
You can forward all of them questionable camper folders to me and I will return them in due time. It might be a while though ! 😉☺️
Beautiful examples Charlie ! I especially like the Schrade made Buffalo Cut. Co. and the way they stamped Scout on the shield - just great attention to detail !!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:☺️

Very nice Empire Curtis and thanks for your comment ! 😍😊

Very nice- not only the knife but the way you’ve used the chisel and punches as props. That chisel blade, itself, is an appealing shape, especially the way it flares from the shank.

I couldn't pass another vintage Scout knife (pre WWII) and this "Campers" from Robeson just had beautiful bone that caught my eye. I have the exact knife that's close to mint aesthetic wise but with a dead main having no snap. This one has snap on all blades with no play at all, a really good knife to carry

Very nice, Paul! That shield is great! Nice full blade, too.

Some really nice knives in this thread. Of course I’m a sucker for a “SCOUT” shield. 🙂

What a nice Empire!!
That Remington may correctly be called a Rail Splitter, or Surveyor, Curtis!!??

P&G that Mayer Punch on the other NY Scout of Charlies seemed to get around almost as prolifically as the Robeson Styled Punch!

I don't know where to begin - so I wont quote all knives shown- but WHAT A SHOW of stellar Scouts!
Charlie- I think we all got those Ulster Mountain division Knives at the same time didn't we? they are a great Knife and I must revisit mine to check that Bail- Eric thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I still think Paul's latest - his Robeson is a stunning Knife- I think I asked this in old Knives- Paul is that one of the Bronze Bearing releases ? would that be one of the Mastercraft Umbrella - I have the answer in my Scout Knives book that is still packed away.
Paul matey - you are right- Charlies Buffalo is a stunner, but what may the the dark horse in all of those would be that Remington Surveyor Scout- man...when you look at that - that is gorgeous and it must be as Elusive as Charlies Buffalo Scout perhaps.

Nice additions Primble with wonderful shots, Charlie- those Remington s would have to be some of the better examples out there - I see you have thank Mr. Noyes- so coming from his herd- there is no surprise - Just stunning beautiful examples!
