Imgur works well, thats what I use. Just upload them to imgur, click the picture you would like to post, copy the BBCode and paste that into your post here. Looking forward to seeing your collection!

One thing I forgot to mention is it is best to resize the picture before uploading to imgur. I have an app that resizes the pictures. You can upload to imgur from your phone.

I suspect that one was made by Empire!! They made a lot of Shapleighs!!

Here's another contract knife - it was hard to get a pic of the etch, but Schrade made this one for Abercrombie and Fitch, outfitters based in NY!!

Basic or higher membership lets you cut out the 3rd party hosting site and post directly.
Just below the text box for replying to a thread is an "attach files" button.
After attaching you have the choice of inserting as a thumbnail or full size.

Almost forgot. Basic and higher membership also eliminates all the ads.

Interesting story: Bill and I talked about a big camp knife over the years, and at a Rendezvous, in Titusville, I found this Utica from a dealer out on the front lawn!! I showed it to Bill in the factory, and left it with him when I went back to Vancouver!!
The rest is history!!!

That's what I suspected as well....and oh my more amazing scouts. That pearl Empire is quite nice. Don't think I have seen a Sheffield made scout before, very interesting. The Weck does look like Schrade, interesting they used the same shield as the Empire versions.

Well maybe I’ll get some benefit from this site after all. Lol. Just released from hospital a few days ago, after a ten day stint.
Enough of that. My health has hindered so many things including many knives I picked up here and there. So today I decided to get busy and start writing tags, with info which I store with the knife. I came to a Remington. A real beauty. I see this one isn’t a RS3333 but a R3333. I checked Goens and some online resources. I’m trying to find a date. Or period of years. It has Remington in cursive inside the circle. No USA Or Made in on the outside of circle. Has a two pc can opener with Remington in cursive. No pat. The dates in Goens is a little different than I found online.
anyone shed some light on this? What years. And what’s the difference between a RS and R3333
ill try and post some pics. They’re not great but May help. And for the record I don’t give a hoot what it’s worth. Just like to know about the R3333 as I’ve never seen one before.

I like these style can opener. I use them as a small blade for opening boxes, perfect. Just difficult to sharpen. I wish GEC would make these scouts on a 35 or 78 size frame.
