I haven't had any problems with mine. They hold an edge at least as well as my 1095 from the Imperial-Schrade family, and Case's CV.
The T10 is as easy as 1095 to sharpen, will take and hold the acute 10° per side (20° inclusive) edge angle I was taught to sharpen a knife to when I was young, 60 ~ 62 years ago, and still prefer.
About the only quote-unquote/air quotes "issue" I'he had with the two RR Classic Carbon knives I have (Barlow and XL stockman) is the blades are a little reluctant to patina after cleaning and degreasing, being similar to my one Buck with a 5160 blade. A vinegar soak for about 15 ~ 20 minutes give or take was required to get a patina started. After that, they patina normally from use.
The RR Black Micarta (or is it G10?) Moose and Colt canoe have Ti coated blades, so can't patina, of course. The Ti coating looks like an even gray patina, so I'm not too stressed about it.
For what it's worth, the Colt Canoe was my first knife with T10 blades, the Moose my second. Both are (IMHO) "heavy duty" knives. Both have roughly 1/8 inch blade stock at the spine/tang. (it took a bit of time to thin the edges to 10° per side.) The Classic Carbon blades are a "normal" roughly 1/16 inch at the spine/tang.

Hope this helps/helped.

Marbles MR592 Orange G-10 series Scout Knife.
Of all my 4 blade Scout/Demo/Engineers knives, I am pretty sure this is my current favorite.

Blades open: Oh, in answer to your question; Yes. The can opener does take a bigger bite each stroke ... abought twice as big ... when opening a can.

Did I mention the MR592 is a little bit bigger than a "Standard" Scout Knife?
Closed length is 4.75 inches (excluding the bail). 🥰 Shown next to a c.1980 Ulster Official BSA Scout Knife, which is 3.765 inch closed. (excluding the bail.)
