Let's see your Scout/Camp knives

Who could resist those Charlie! Facing that choice of saying yes or no would be like Jennifer Aniston asking you if you would like to join her in the Shower- theres pretty much no answer in the World other than Yes Im thinking. :) ( Sue allows my love for Jennifer , as I do for her love for Ryan Gosling ).

Wow- what a Bunch!... the Knives guys the Knives.

Thanks, Lostball,
and again, Duncan!
I'm impressed you are on a first name basis with Jennifer, Duncan!! She's a lovely woman!!
:D

Thank you for the fine compliment ! It's the 1921-1924 Circle stamp on the punch and the 1924-1933 Circle stamp on the main. :D

I know you have forgotten more than I'll ever know about them...the links are for others and myself :)

Edit: According to the article in Knife World ( from posted link above and snipped from same and posted below ...both from pdf by Dennis Ellingsen ) my Scout was produced between 1932 - 1935 ( no stamp on the can opener )

You have heard of collateral damage? These three are a collateral collection! (with some damage to my bank account!!
Seeking to replace some Scouts that went astray, I got a late offer of these three, AFTER I had replaced the missing knives! I could not refuse them!! I sold some other knives so came out roughly even, thank goodness!!
It was hard to refuse these!!
A Schrade Walden, a Cattaraugus and an Ulster; two NIB, and the Catt is unused, with no box.

The Catt has some interesting blade shapes, both the clip blade and the can opener!
Glorious knives Charlie, I am always amazed at your knack for finding the unfindable treasures!

Gorgeous knives, Charlie!!! So amazingly pristine. Of the three, I think I’m most smitten with the Ulster. The etch, the shield, the dark bone, the 2-piece can opener...... It’s got everything going for it.

I love your scout. As much as I appreciate a knife that looks brand new, your scout has developed an incredible amount of character. The bone has beautifully taken on that carmel color aged look that I love so much, with just the right amount of pocket wear.

Thank you sir! It's been buffed but at least he did not go to town :( I love it and now the force is strong within me :);)

Veeery Nice Remington Gev my friend- and neat follow ups too my friend.

Jtwo shoes - That Cammy is a beauty!

This lovely thread is just awash in beautiful knives, info and compliments! Makes my Sunday that much nicer. I am grateful to you all!!
Tomorrow (Monday) is Canadian Thanksgiving, but we always celebrate on the Sunday.
The Turkey goes into the oven soon, and will come out with some of that golden color many of these knives hint at!
There is so much for which to be thankful!!
I will pray for relief for the people in the world who are suffering from terrible weather, and terrible leaders.
