Imperial was an official supplier of Boy Scout knives for a couple of decades after WWII.
Here is a counter display which held six individual boxed knives. This particular model #1996 with the Scout shield molded into the handle was in production from 1958 to 1962.

So that seems to indicate Schrade made Ulster Scouts, after they absorbed Ulster Knife Co. in 1941. I wonder if the tang says U.S.A?I found this picture on an auction site last night, of an Ulster scout knife with a missing bolster. I thought it interesting, as it very clearly shows Schrade’s Swinden key construction.
