I don’t have many scout knives, but I love the ones I got.

Well that's an interesting Robeson. It appears to be a jigged Delrin contract knife, manufactured by Camillus, based on the Camillus 14 pattern. The same pattern used to make the much revered Kabar 1152 scout knife, as well as the early Camillus branded Campers. The shield and shield placement are even identical.

I agree, that Robeson is a beauty with that strawberry bone and blades /tools look virtually unused  The Forest Master is a classic

Thank you. Once I put a little oil in the joints, both knives felt brand new.

Thanks for the info! I had no idea what the history of the Robeson was. I just knew that I wanted an older model scout. The pink Delrin seemed to scare folks off long enough for me to pick it up. :D

Gotta love that jigged strawberry Delrin LoL o_O

Pink or not I like it:thumbsup: when I first saw the pic I thought that the main blade profile and bolsters looked a lot like a Camillus. But I had no idea they're was a connection. Learning stuff everyday I log onto the porch. I by far am still a novice, but from what I've seen Camillus's spear points have a certain look that just says "Camillus" kinda a drop point spear? Both the Robeson and Colonial are nice and pristine:thumbsup:
