Let's see your Scout/Camp knives

B Bloefield , you Camillus Scouts look great. The one with the wood covers is really interesting. I don’t think I’ve seen that one before.

And the scout gravy train keeps rolling... added these last week  The Pal Blade Co is the pre-cursor to the famous Remington scout, or is it? Which came first, the Pal or the Rem? And for the Schrade Cut Co... well let's just say "peachseed"

That Pal is wonderful. I assume the Pal is made from old parts acquired from Remington? I looks pretty much identical.

I got home from the Adirondacks today, to a Remington in my mailbox. But it doesn’t look nearly as nice as your Pal. Lots of rust pitting, and the main blade isn’t totally full. But the bone is still good and the walk and talk on the blades is perfection. With some luck, I’ll have time to clean it up tomorrow.

I totally forgot to bring my Ulster 10th Mountain Division to the mountains this weekend. So my Camillus and my Remington performed all duties. I only remembered to take pics of the are Remington.
