Let's see your Shadetree

Only two of these, but they're both purdy.

We all started with one. You are off to a great start with those two Keegan. Watch out for Shadetree addiction setting in.

Beautiful choice Vayu. I like the color combo on that one.

You will see more stuff like this from me in the future! And New stuff.

Thank you for the positive feedback. I constantly strive to improve from knife to knife

I am glad to see you making some knives with tapered tangs, especially on thicker stainless which tends to be handle heavy on many SFT knives that I have owned.

Keep up the good work. I still love my 3/32" CPM 154 Raptor that I got from you at the Blade Show.

Thurin and Vayu! Thank yall for the response! It's been a while since I've ventured into the Fiddleback Forums that I once so closely monitored. Beautiful, beautiful knives by the way! Thanks Thurin for verifying that those pins are the natural color.. My mother and pops live in close vicinity to Osprey Knife and Tool and was going to say I may need to make a trip home if they're producing orange micarta pins!

oh man, that yellow recluse...

Ohhhhb yeah!! You know I didn't like it when I bought it I just jumped at the chance for a recluse to go with my patch. BUTTTTTTTTTT after getting it in I've fell I love with the Philellow :) and I'm a blue kinda guy lol

Just wanted to say that I think it's pretty cool one of my Runt pictures is on the Shadetree website (coffeebag).

Here is our current lineup of Fiddlebacks wearing Shadetree. . .

LtoR

BK: in terracotta OG spalt. . .Easily my most used Fiddleback recently. This one and the patch have come in handy with recent general construction work on the new barn

Patch: TT in PIB, B&W stripes . . . My Second most used I am Starting find the drop point is generally more utilitarian than the spear points for indoor work.

Patch: in FUBAR coffee bag, B&W stripes. . .Son of fods

EDC: 154 in black herringbone, orange liners, black stripes, stainless hammer flats. Had high hopes for this one, but it just does not get the love and use. Not giving up on it though :)

Arete: oreo old school with steel and natural pins and black liners, OG spalt. . .Until recently this one was number one in the lineup and is the number one Fiddleback on my side when hiking and woods bumming. This knife, of all the knives I own, fits my hand the best. Got it second hand with an Andy Roy made sheath.

Ladyfinger: old school w/single steel pin, commando twisted orange, mill finish flats. Like the EDC, I should love this knife, but . . .I don't. Perhaps if it were a skinny one I'd use it more.

Kephart: TT Shadetree Sampler w/beauty mark. Drunken coffee bag, natural, oreo with emerald liners. Kinda more for show it is a real slicer.

Gaucho: TT Drunken coffee bag over black liners and bolster, beauty mark. Definitely the Sophia of the bunch;) My Sunday picnic/ personal steak knife.
Andy offered me this knife at Blade a few years back, right out of his pocket. For some reason, I passed. Later that month, it came up on FF and in the meantime I had come to my senses and snatched it up. Came with another beautiful lambskin lined Andy made sheath

Recluse: TT Tangerine over Black liners, bolsters, spalt flats. Intended as a gift for a friend, we'll see if it leaves Shadetree Central:o

Recluse: TT FUBAR coffee bag over Black liners, white stripes. Son of fods to match the patch above.

Sneaky Pete: Shadetree Sampler. Red, grass and black herringbone over black liners, white stripes. Light spalt flats. Another for son of fod to show off at shows.

KPH: commando kryptonite with glow bullseye, mill finish flats. Glows all night.

Snubnose: orange brains over natural liners and bolsters, OG Spalting. Experimental one off orange tinted fiberglass with orange fiber mix.

Great photo and summary of models & handle configurations. I appreciate your explanation of which ones you use the most and why. Very cool!

Me to!!! Wasn't so sure about it in the pics, but now that it is in hand.....Jeez Louise it is gorgeous!!!!!!!!

Anyone know if this "blue jean burlap" is a Shadetree product?

I asked the same question of Ken a while back when I snagged a Recluse in the same handle material. If my memory serves me correctly I believe he indicated that it was sourced from Cherokee Knife Supply. Shadetree makes a Denim burlap, but it has a different look than what's on your knife.
