Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

I saw another green apple at the top, I'll just drop mine in here as well.

I'm pretty new to older Case knives and I'm trying to determine the approximate year of my 11031 SH rope knife. I believe it is a 1940-1964 or older because it has the CASE with XX underneath tang stamp.

My main question is about the shield? Is this considered a tall "S"? If so, then I'm pretty sure this means that this knife is an early 1940-1964 version. What does early XX mean? 1940-????. Any insight you can provide would be much appreciated.

Much more shine than my 9 dot 11031SH has.
Great knives. Shame they dropped them.

Case Select Peanut in Mediterranean Blue... I love the color and fit/finish on this one. I just wish the pull was slightly less on the main blade. On the pen blade its fine.

My current favorite edc. Love the clip point on it.

Driften, that may just be the prettiest peanut I've ever seen.

Thanks Alex it is really nice. Its amazing people still have this 2010 model still new in stock. Only 250 were made. The dealer a couple of this one left. I think they also had the trapper model.

Some great examples in this thread!

Here's a shot of my Case collection. Kind of heavy on the sowbellies, but there's worse problems to have ;)

My first Sodbuster Jr.! And I love it already! [emoji175] It's such a sturdy, robust knife. I look forward to putting it through its paces and watching a patina form on it.
