Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

Gorgeous dark covers on your 92 Falling_rain. I picked up my first 92 this past winter . . . it has the lighter covers, from 1976.

Thanks Jeff! Your 92 cover looks gorgeous too! It has got a pocket worn appearance!

From willc willc : "Does anyone know how old this may be and what does the HE stand for?"

According to the book Collecting Case Knives by Steve Pfeiffer, the "H" stands for "sHeepsfoot" and the "E" stands for "pEn". (Really! They couldn't use the first letter because of duplicates: Sheepsfoot, Spey, Pen, and Punch.)

That is a really good looking knife, Al!
Thanks, Dean!

My latest Teardrop acquisition, Star Spangled. The blue and red portions are cut down (don't know how to say this), while the white portions are flush/level with the bolsters. The pile side is natural bone.

I was looking at this series just the other day. Your picture and description really help! I need to get at least one for Fourth of July.

thanks MMM!
I've been looking for a user with a few dings on it already. can't bring myself to carry this one yet. its a real comfortable pattern with sunk joints

Thanks, Dean!

Thanks, Al. I tried to catch how it looked because I couldn't find any photos from retailers that showed how it looked or felt. Also, did not see or read anywhere that the pile side was plain. I'm glad it helped; I really like the one I got and I think it is a neat design.
