Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

Case XX USA 2 FINN. This was my first fixed blade knife that wasn't a hand-me-down.

Bought it new at the drug store with money from mowing yards.

Lost it temporarily to my eldest brother in penny-ante poker. He won all my money and I doubled down with the Case and lost it, too. :(

His girlfriend had come over to the house at about the time the final hand was dealt. She made him give it back, plus the money... she suspected he had been reading my cards. This was a revelation to me.:D

He swore he wasn't really gonna keep it and that he was just teaching me a lesson. ;) Lesson Learned.

I lost the sheath sometime later, but not in a poker game!

Love the long pull and shield on this... and the covers..the jigging and color are beautiful..

I need a Bose. This place is dangerous.
I'll just say that the Cattle Knife pattern just might be the best of all the collabs. If you only ever get one, that's the one to get imo.

I just bought another Teardrop - this one in Chestnut Bone. I noticed the color of Chestnut varied a lot from what I saw in the advertisements.

Here are my "Chestnut" Bone knives. The two on the top and bottom have the most consistent color on both sides. They also look like they were advertised. The color of the covers on the teardrop in the middle varies a little from side to side and is far from what the ads show. The muskrat in the middle varies more front to back.

These are features that make buying Case knives interesting. :)

Any examples of color differences you have?

So I was surprised when I opened it.
This is still a nice small knife but bigger than I thought it would be.

I do like the wharncliff blade and the hollow grind makes it a very nice cutter.
This will end up being a good work watch pocket knife.

They are nice. I have one myself that I put Wenge wood scales on.
